Foscam US

This app won't connect, even the pre loaded demo camera fails. With the other official foscam app getting a horrible update my hope was this app by the US team might work. Sadly it doesn't.

Not all cameras listed, can ONLY choose Cams supported by app. 3rd party apps work fine. Maybe Foscam is only updating for the newer Amcrest stuff. DISAPPOINTED

Can see picture but when I go to access camera I get an error and can't view. It is obviously connected but keep getting the error for some reason. Please fix this and soon.

I'm connected but it won't go full screen. It works on my iPad but not on my galaxy s5. Had to get another app to operate it on my phone

IP Cam FI8919W. None of the Foscam application I'm able to view it thru my cell phone. It's supposed to be able to view it anywhere but no.

doesn't work. I have another app installed on our ipad that works perfectly fine. this will not load camera, though I can see a curent still of image when I open app.

It worked great before just gives error message now disappointed foscam . pull your socks up ! I have 10 foscams

Nothing works, I can see the video when I first open the app but tap on it and constant errors, will not even work from within my home network using the camera's static IP. Old app worked perfectly don't know why it had to be changed.

Allows me to view cameras in grid view but unable to view or control any specific camera. Also, settings are non-existent and I'm unable to remove any unwanted cameras.

Cannot see the camera bigger. Can see it small but when I double tap it it gives me an error.

Stopped working after Android 5 update. Shows connected but when go to monitoring mode where I can rotate and watch it shows error. Fix it soon.

Must not have updated the app after the newest android update. Camera connects but cannot be seen (says video error).

Update: It stopped working. I can now only see a screenshot on the listing page and get "Error" when trying to view the stream. This happened without changing anything on the camera, network, or phone. I've now tried updating the firmware of the camera to no avail. -- Wouldn't work at first for some reason. I think restarting the camera may have fixed it - not sure. Now works great and has all the functionality I require. One feature request would be to allow video while landscape and a full screen video option.

I tried the all to see if it was different then the ShenZhen one. It is - its not as useful. Its *prettier*, but its been stripped down or "streamlined" in a way that's made it cleaner at the expense of utility. If for no other reason then the ShenZhen app can scan your network for cameras instead of you having to know the IPs or assign DNS names to them before hand, the other app is better.

Insanely user unfriendly setup. Impossible to use PTZ controls because they're right on top of each other. I could only use them with a stylus, and even then they're just not well mapped to the touch screen. Most camera settings are missing. IR on/off doesn't work.

The app is supposed to work with the true way audio but all I can do is listen to what's going on where my cameras are located. When I tap to "talk" it says recording but no sound ever is emitted to the cameras. They work on the computer(2-way audio) so I know they are not faulty. If they fix this issue I will give it 5 stars cause everything else works fine. UPDATE: no longer works ever since upgrading S3 phone to S5. It shows the previews for the cams, but when you click to connect to it, it says error.

This was a great app until the lollipop upgrade. Now it's worthless. It errors out when I try to watch the streaming video, every single time. I posted to Foscam's technical support board, but others have as well, without any response from Foscam. Very unfortunate.

Help! Video works laptop but not on this app. It says "error". Please let me know how i can fix this and I'll make it 5 stars

I purchased four FOSCAM cameras and downloaded the Android FOSCAM US app. FOSCAM US app worked great with Android 4.2 on a Samsung S5. However when T-Mobile pushed 5.0 and later 5.1 FOSCAM US app will not stream video nor does audio work. Snap shot pictures still functions but nothing else. FOSCAM customer service is lacking to non existent on fixing their problem. It's been a year plus now. Tried clearing cache from boot loader mode even did the whole factory reset with total neg. results. Foscam-lacking!

App doesn't work with Lollipop. They dont even bother to update this app. And the other app is reporting to Baidu. Piece of cr@p.

Whoever developed this app should hang their heads in shame. This is the 2nd device I've tried to connect to my 2 foscams on and the second device it's utterly failed to connect on. Utter pish and a waste of my time. Avoid this app at all costs.

What's not to like about the price. Works for me ( Galaxy Note 2), ( Lollipop 5.1.1 CM12). Landscape for 720p camera viewing would be a welcome update.

Pretty good app. Everything works but I cant get the presets camera postions move the camera. If they would fix I would give it 5 stars.

Video will not load. Worked great before system update.

My wife can't use it with her nexus 6. My S4 just updated to lollipop and it too has stopped working.

Nothing works. Foscam has a lot of work to do on this app. Let us know when it's working correctly.

Couldnt even connect properly to my camera. The app main screen showed my camera preview, but returned error when I tried to see the actual camera's view. I gave up and closed the app on my phone, but it used up 4GB of data over a single night!

Works great on my wireless lan. haven't connected across the wan yet.

Can only thumbnail, error when I try to access camera and control. Same fault my wife's HTC , but works ok on Samsung.

Camera & app don't work with audio. Even on PC, can barely hear anything with the PC volume cranked as high as possible. Similarly, audio at the camera is barely audible.

I like it but after the software update of my phone it doesn't work anymore. Please fix it. Thanks

The demo cam doesn't even open. Nexus 5 Wi-Fi and 3g networks.

Almost nothing works. Once in awhile I can get pan/tilt to work.....once. Listen/talk doesn't work at all. Extremely limited functions for cameras. A lot of what these cameras can do is not available within this app. No updates since August so I think they gave up trying to get it to work.

The app was really good then I updated to lollipop and now it won't load when I go to expand the camera view. I tried everything but nothing gets it back to working condition... Can you guys update this???

Glad to have audio support, but no landscape mode and presets are broken. It works be nice if they put a little more effort into attractive UI that worked at least as good as the web interface.

App crashes on launch. Tried on multiple devices, same result. I have to wonder how this got of out QA. Probably because it wasn't QA'd in the first place. Really very disappointed.

It's rather hard to judge an nap, when I can't even get it to connect to my camera.

Keeps saying can't connect to my camera...a waste of an app.

Everything is clearly set up correctly or else the thumbnail wouldn't load, but when trying to view the actual feed then I get an error on multiple instances of Nexus 5s.
