Yes this was exactly what I was looking for, this will be great for making texture packs for minecraft, only thing is please make a way for us to load images from our device as long as they are 8 bit.

Brilliant app, does everything it says! Only thing I would love to have would be a 255 colour palette. I understand it is supposed to be 8 bit however it would really help out the community.
