IMBscan

It does what it is supposed to do, nor does it give out confidential information. It states the type of mail and the destination address. It cannot be used for identity theft as no name is listed in the information given. As far as the rest of the information I would have to test it.

Awesome app and very useful in my line of work. One thing I noticed is the image capture of the IMB is inverted and mirrored on a Nexus 5X however it's fine on a Samsung Note 3. Any plans to fix this?

I've used the app twice and both times it worked. This app is nice to look at the bar code on a piece of mail and see if it is going to the right address. If you're getting mail sent back to you, it's probably because the Post Office looked at the return address and used that as the letters bar code.. This app works fine on my MotoG 3rd gen. It does have ads, but they are not intrusive.

Just adjusted the focus....never did anything else. There was Enough light and clear picture. Never acquired a scan

Gets the information from the bar code but doesn't decipher any of it. It's all tracking information and that is what the barcode is used for., but this app provides none of the tracking info, which is why you would want to read the bar code.

I downloaded this app to see what information is store in IMB barcods. It showed me my address plus other information. I found this useful because now I know to destroy the barcode when trashing/shredding old mail. May help prevent identity theft. I think an improvement would be if the option to scan the presorted mail barcode and retrieve that information was available. I found it helpful once, but I may never use it again though.

Doesn't work with LG G4 camera.

Keeps trying to focus on Samsung S4

Work fine and display all the information of the imbc including the Service type ID (STID)

Just kept refocusing.

Can't read either self printed, scanned, post office printed, or any postal barcode for that matter. Samsung S4

App does exactly what it says. No unnecessary permissions needed. Could use a bit of a visual refresh.. But won't knock the rating for that. Especially for a free app.

Does a great job decoding the IMB

This app works really good it does what its meant to do. Also customer service is awesome, yes that's right "customer service" I had an issue with my SGS5 and they helped me out, a couple of emails is all it took.

The latest Version provides all the information in the bar code. A little non-intrusive ad appears in the bottom. It doesn't affect use.

Being able to verify the mail barcode is correct, is important to me when preparing mailings. Retrieving the address from online is nice too

Gave 3 becYse its a free app and great for everyone else in the shop, but id rather pay to be able to read MIDs and other elements
