The app uses Digital Signal Processing to convert the sounds of the urine stream hitting the water in the toilet to a graph of flow rate against time. This makes a quick and easy test in your home so that you an see if your Prostate Enlargement is getting worse.

The Uroflow machines at the Urologist's office are very accurate, but they record (accurately) the flow rates of a non-typical urination. Our approach uses the sound of the urine-stream hitting the water in a toilet as a less accurate measure of the urine flow rate. The advantage here is that you can measure every urination for three days to show what is truly typical of you. If you do this every six months you'll see the change.You can test out various approaches, like tea, and no red wine or natural products like saw palmetto, or modern pharmaceutical products, to see what really affects your urine flow rate.

The 'Review' button sends an email containing a link to a review web-app. You can send this email to your doctor to enable him to review your tracings. This is a convenient way to monitor your status and progress over the years. Uroflow Tracings app costs $5 to use this review feature for a month. It is not required to use this feature at all, you can get lots of good insight into your condition for free.
