For phones with no IR, such as Samsung Galaxy S7 and Note 5, you can use Broadlink WiFi-to-IR converter for the full functionality.
Using WiFi, you can control numerous smart TVs and media streamers, such as Samsung, LG, Android, Roku, Kodi, and Apple TV.

To use it, you must have your mobile/tablet on the same wifi network as your television and you have to accept the message that appears on your television.
Because the application runs through the wireless network, it is not necessary to be near the television.
