About ULibrary
The uLibrary app makes it easy to browse, borrow and listen to your library's eAudio books on your smart phone or tablet.
You can use uLibrary if your library has joined our digital audio book service. Download from the App Store for FREE and log-in with your library membership details to access your library's collection of our eAudio books.
BROWSE
- Easy to browse by genre
- Search by title, author, narrator, and genre
- Each eAudio book has an audio preview
- See how many titles you have available to borrow and how many you have on loan at any time
BORROW
- Borrow or, if out on loan, reserve for later
- Receive automatic notification of when reserved titles become available (requires email details)
- Receive automatic notification when nearing end of loan period (requires email details)
- Receive automatic notification if a title has been borrowed but not yet downloaded (requires email details)
- Renew eAudio book loans (if title has not been reserved by another user)
- Return eAudio book loans before the loan period expires
- Title automatically deletes from your My Account screen on loan expiry, so no more overdue fees
- Full list of previously downloaded titles always available
LISTENING
- Off line listening
- Automatically saves your current position in book
- Lock screen widget for quick and easy access to playback controls of eAudio book
- Play eAudio books in the background whilst using other apps

Ok selection of books. But it is an appalling app! Crashes, doesn't finish chapters properly, doesn't work well with Bluetooth.

Crashes often on my Lenovo A7000-a running Android 6.0. l wouldn't use it if there is an alternative but I have no choice as it is the only way to borrow Ulverscroft audio books from my library. I wish it were half as good as Overdrive Media Console.

I wish someone would read feed back and act on it.Maybe you should try out one of the other platforms they seem to have it right. Only using because I have to , I am going to see if the library well use another platform.

Absolutely rubbish, I use borrow box and overdrive and they work fantastic. This app was full of bugs and crashed every few minutes.

Lasted 3 minutes before I deleted it! Overwrote my email address with a random polish person! Pop up saying I had to log in every month came up every time I pressed an icon. Couldn't search anything

Absolute rubbish App ! it to be good but now it always crashes and can't seem to contact Ulverscroft .I'm using android galaxy s7 .Tried uninstalling and restarting phone and all the usual tricks for app crashes but it still crashes....please fix it !

This is one of three apps recommend ,and the only one that wouldn't recognise my password, when the other two did .Therefore useless.

You can only select a chapter at a time. When it finishes you have to go back in and select the next one. Stop starting books every few minutes. No bookmark option, most audio book app bookmark your last point. You have to remember which chapter. Not useful. Compared to other audio books apps this is the worst I've used. keeps freezing. doesn't download all chapters other book, when you return the book it leaves it on your drive to manually delete chapter by chapter. Uninstall and reinstalled. rubbish

Since the recent update it has improved significantly. However one issue I've found is it's stopped auto playing the next chapter.

The "borrow" button shows up when I go to a title but when I try and borrow a book it comes up saying "no loans available". Even though on my account page it says I have nothing out and have 2 loans available. Not working for me at all.

This is so buggy on a Galaxy S2 it's unusable. Continually freezes. Plus you need a data connection to listen to books you have downloaded.

I keep using this app because it gives me access to books I want. And once it gets playing a book it is just fine. But every time I load a new book it crashes repeatedly. I can only get past it by uninstalling reinstalling and starting again. Annoying, and every time I have to retype my long library card number.
