To apply for a U Account, which you’ll need to do before you can use the app, go to www.Uaccount.Uk and select ‘Apply’. It only takes a couple of minutes and there’s no credit check – we’ll just need to confirm your identity.

Through the U Account Balance+ app, you’ll get:
• User-friendly dashboard, allowing you to check your total account balance and your available balance
• List of recent activity, including transactions in and out of your account
• Service status information for any account issues that may occur
• Full, searchable FAQs for answers to any of your U Account questions

The U Account itself is free to set up and comes with a free prepaid debit Mastercard® card*, access to direct debits, and a digital Money Manager.

Application for a U Account is simple, quick, and doesn’t require a credit check (you’ll just need to confirm your identity).

You’re given the choice of which monthly option suits YOU and all charges are clearly presented. U Account Price Points can be changed each month and let you select different prices for payments, Extra Accounts and more.

Using the Money Manager and our Extra Accounts facility, U account holders have access to a truly digital solution for budgeting, setting money aside, and staying in control of spending.
