My Bus Edinburgh for Android
We spent a couple of days in Edinburgh and had decided to use the buses which we wouldn't normally do. We didn't have the app on arrival and struggled a bit but once we stayed using the map we found it very helpful! Hint, if you're looking for a bus to a place, go to your destination on the map, see which busses go by and then use the filter to see only those buses. Should be able to find the one you need. Thanks for this one
There are timetable changes from 23rd April and some of the timetables at bus stops have already been changed. Unfortunately the QR codes and Bus Stop codes are no longer displayed. A shame as it was useful to quickly scan and get departures. Have to use the Nearest Bus Stops option instead. Still a great app.
This is so practical and easy to use I get the bus to and from school everyday and I needed a good app that I could rely on. I came across this app and it ticks all the boxes! Thank you soooo much for creating this it is a life saver
Was very annoying walking to the next bus stop with "17 minutes" for the next bus then about a minute into the walk the bus drives past me... Must be a glitch in the matrix as it appears the app has been taken off line now... Some people thrive on routine when this destroys that.
Regularly skips forward in 4-5 minute blocks. Lost count of the number of times I've missed a bus trying to follow times in this app. Quite pointless.
I've lived in Edinburgh all my adult life but am only ever familiar with where I have to be. This app hasn't only been vital for times, the other features help you find your way and bus number. HOWEVER, from 23rd April bus stops have been given new 6 digit codes beginning with 2 and this app doesn't recognise them so has become almost redundant for times. Have you worked on this issue? should reinstall?
This is the app to use for public transport in Edinburgh. Lothian buses also has an official app which is really unreliable and crashes frequently. Thanks to the developer for giving us the choice to have a third party app that actually works.
I'm an occasional bus user. But anytime I've used the app it never let's me down. Great to know a bus is on its way!
I have lived in Edinburgh for 5 years and I used this app for the busses. Excellent, not too complicated with everything we might need (favourite stops, filters, news etc). Briefly tried the Transport for Edinburgh app but not as satisfied as with MyBus. Well done developer! One small question though. What does the star next to the estimated time of arrival mean? Couldn't find it anywhere.
Don't know where you get your bus times from. But they are never correct against the bus stop timetables. I have missed a few buses using this app. Rubbish. Now 9 mins different. The stop ones are correct

Can't leave the house without it. Helps me decide if I should walk home or wait for a bus or taxi and whether I should get off at Haymarket or Waverley. Much better than the Lothian Buses app. Thanks.
The 15 don't come down here no more. The 40 does though and that ain't on this app.
I seriously cannot live without this app. Very simple to use and love the features. Can't rate it any better!. Thank you!
...and have been using it for years. Any problems have been down to LRT system issues. Keep up the good work!
I've been using this app for two years now, and I've never been disappointed about the accuracy and the fast data feed it provides. Good adding for tram schedules! A suggestion for the devs, would be great if we could plan trips, with the bus /tram connections and changes according to a time to leave from point of departure or time to a point of arrival. Keep up the good work!
Hi Niall, thanks for this handy, well designed and free app. Scenario: standing at stop on Randolph Cres, phone battery about to die, no QR or numerical code at stop, so I turn on Location Services, and hit "nearest stop" expecting to see Randolph Cres at top of list - and subsequently to tap it to see list of forthcoming departures, but the stop wasn't anywhere on the list. Any thoughts? Would finding the stop on the map and going from there have been the more appropriate method of achieving what I wanted?

After using the one that the trams and buses suggest. I realise that this app is fantastic and I never should have swapped over. I've never had a problem with this app unlike the other however.
It is accurate a large majority of the time. I have been using it for more than a year and it is easy to add new favourites to your screen with widjets.

It had a couple kinks here and there but its easily the best bus app in the store
V2 definitely made this a great bus app for Edinburgh. But after a shaky start the official Transport for Edinburgh app is probably the one to install now with a nice new design, route maps, and full tram support.
Seems to be throwing up random times today. Bus was due at 5:23 but actually went at 5:11, I got to the stop just in time to see my bus disappearing. Now it's telling me the next is due at 5:45, thanks my bus :(
Look no further ! This is the original and best app for tourists to use... As a local living out of the city and driving 99% of the time I totally rely on this app when I have to bus it. Well done on a clear and concise app for us all!
Easily the best travel app for getting around Edinburgh. Easy to use and keep up to date. As a frequent bus user, this is one of my most used apps. Only small downside is the Bus Stop Map only appears to work with Wi-Fi and not mobile data. EDIT- this issue appears to have rectified itself. Up a grade as a result.

Normally a very handy app but it has been undergoing maintenance for the past week!
Does this ever actually work for more than a day? Been down all weekend which is pretty poor
I use this app everyday four or five times a day. For the last three years Its always perfectly accurate a lot more than the official lothian buses app, ive never experienced negative use. Other than odd once or twice the server couldnt be reached

I use this app regularly and have founf that it is often more accurate than the official TfE app. Very handy for anyone livinv in Edinburgh, I just hope it comes to windows phone soon.
I will only use Niall's bus tracking app. The rest can go to blazes.
The presentation of the information plus ease of adding and saving stops is in my opinion, far ahead of the other two Edinburgh trackers. It might not look as pretty, but it's miles more useable. Good work here, thank you.
The app is fast and reliable. However the tram stop Saughton direction York Place is missing. Hope it will be added soon
Question. Do you have plans to put this app on the Windows system?

The stops show over mobile but not the roads they are on. No issue whatsoever when on Wi-Fi. Speaking to others, it seems I'm not the only one with this issue.
I used to use this app before lothian buses made their own, I got a new phone and installed theirs instead thinking surly their own app will be better..... I was wrong... They managed to make a app that does not update properly, stops working randomly and for some reason will only update times on mobile networks, not WiFi?? Didn't even know u could make such a bug... Anyway now back to the best app for lothian buses..
This app is amazing me and my dad were on the way back from a football match and it really helped us

Ive lived most of my life here in the capital.. Always used LRT official apps.. oops is all I can say. I have just set up all my favourite stops from bed.. so now I can go to sleep and not have to worry about buses and getting to work on time. I am a worrier.. thank you so much for this amazingly well designed app. PS if you arent too computer savy like me then this is the app for you. THANk YOU ❤
