London Air

Gone pearshaped again. Constantly updating and only displays 3 authorities. Wife's phone also constantly updating but at least shows all the authorities. Don't think the data is actually updated. Tried reinstalling which worked last time but to no avail. Would be useful app if it was reliable. Update - update worked once then stopped again. Now only seems to update after reinstalling. Time to find a different app. Now it's working again, server problem apparently.

Such a pity it's so chronically hard to use. I can't even tell if some things in it are bugs or deliberate. But I strongly suspect that nobody with any experience of software design has been involved in any of it. At least I hope to hell they haven't because you'd have to try to make this harder to use otherwise. From the obscure and inconsistent vocabulary, to the wildly disconnected screens and absence of any discernable architecture, it's all such a pity given its obvious potential.

Updating every few seconds so unusable. Uninstalled. Might as well just use one of several web sites that give the information.

Great to have access to this data but the lack of navigation options and obscure terminology makes it hard to use. Pity.

All I see is list view, with the three buttons on top leading to three blank screens. Surely this is not what the app is meant to look like?

Tower Hamlets isn't on the list of authorities and I can't seem to get a map view

Map colouring isn't working. So it's not specific to where I live.

It is very useful, but it doesn't give information about Bromley

Seems to be set to arbitrarily set to Putney high street. No obvious settings or options I could find to change this. Cannot enter my home or ay other postcode as return key is ignored. Nice idea but terribly designed and therefore rather unusable.

Given the people behind it, you'd think they could make an app that was decent to use and didn't have a three second lag.

Like City Air doesn't work most of the time. Otherwise good.

And no instructions or help page.

Every 4 months or so it stops working. Have to uninstall & reinstall again.

Not very intuitive interface, however it's the only app available with correct data on London pollution.

What a handy little app. A must for any London who cares about their health.

Great little App, gives solid info from a reputable source. Works well on Android as nd Moto Defy.

Great idea and would be really useful. However... Nearly 18mb installed a d no move to SD card option makes this app too fat for android 1/2 generation phones. Does it need to be that big?
