Dordogne-Lot Travel Companion

The Dordogne and Lot Travel Companion App has been designed to give you easy access to a wealth of information about this beautiful area of South West France. It hosts one of the most comprehensive Directories of Campsites and Gites in the area with direct links to their websites! It also provides general tourism information as well!

There is so much to see and do in the Dordogne and Lot that it is easy to be overwhelmed with information, reviews and recommendations available on the internet. The App’s main purpose is to provide a more focused approach to where to stay and what is nearby by separating the main visitor attractions onto specific maps and providing some background information on each.

If you are thinking about what its like to live in France, there is a now a Blog section to give you a flavour of Life in France!

The App resource is developed by a Membership of users that know the region well and contribute by providing photos and recommendations that will be useful to visitors while they are on holiday or thinking of travelling there.

It has links to many very useful websites, some of which are unavoidably in French as they are very localised but they are easy to interpret because of the use of pictures… and after all, you’re in France and part of the enjoyment is experiencing different culture, traditions and language!
