Move it! for Android
Could maybe use more customization options for alerts or time periods, but that's just a nit pick. I would like to see a widget that shows the pie on my home screen. Still a 5 star app.
I was so excited to see this app, as I wanted an activity reminder on my moto 360. Disappointed that, even though I've synced it with my moto fit, it only records steps while holding my phone. Which is not reasonable for me. Does not recognize steps on the watch.
Does exactly what it says on the tin. The only thing I could wish for is being able to change the reminder tone to something of my choosing.
I wish it allowed time interval, such as 30 minutes instead of 1 hour. Also it really needs a unique notification sound!
After enabling notifications and even the nagging mode, I receive no notifications at all even after several hours of zero steps. I set the interval to 08:00-00:00 every day. Not a single notification.EDIT: I set the times to 08:00-23:59 and I received a notification. Author needs to disallow end time to be before start time. Serious bug #2: following a period of inactivity, I will continue to get reminders until I open the app again and refresh Google fit despite any steps taken after the inactivity.
I have paired move it with Fit; Fit is paired w.my sony smartwatch 3. Will move it notify me via fit on my smartwatch device? I set move it to notify & nag me when less than 200 steps. Thanks
Installed the app & connect to google fit, but after using for 2 days, no notification and reminder as stated in the app .
Works great! It uses data from Google Fit, which is perfect with my Android Wear Watch that stores data there.
Does exactly what I needed, a reminder to move. Google fit is my step tracker, pebble is my device, and this nicely fills the need.
Can't change the notification sound. Otherwise great app.
I had to delete this app. I make sure to walk hourly but the app does not count any steps.
Best inactivity monitor I've found for android. I like that it's connected to Google fit. The ability to put limits on the times and days that reminders will be active is great. Would also be nice to have the ability to turn on or off reminders based on gps location as I only really want to get notifications at the office... not when I'm out for lunch for example.
Not sure what's happened but the app tells me I've not moved all day even though walk logger tells me I've done 7500 steps
Should not notify while in car. It's kinda hard to move inside. Also custom sounds would appreciated
Seems like a great idea. Easy to use. But somehow it's not picking up my steps. Obviously that HAS to work. I think I'll keep it for now and hope for a fix soon. Besides that I'd suggest that the notification be customizable: With or without sound, picking a ringtone, and maybe set up a specific pattern to the vibrate. Also maybe be able to say how often you want notification. I'm disappointed because sadly this isn't a feature in most of the total fitness apps. This fills a much needed gap.
And my new Smartwatch 3 also shows I am moving, without my always having to take my phone
Simple and easy to use. Plus works off of Google fit
It does not work.
Needed a simple app that reminded me to move every few minutes and this app does it perfectly.
I don't understand why google fit or fitbit include a feature like this
It's a fairly simple app. I love being able to adjust days and times for the notifications. Customized notification sound option would be awesome, but the app does its job just fine without that additional feature.
Astoundingly annoying, but does what it's supposed to do.
Doesn't work well... I just walked around the block and almost at the end of my walk it pinged and said I had not moved much in the last hour. Appears to have real issues working reliably on Android Wear (moto 360) and Nexus 6
Love the app. Wish I could tell how far away I am from the interval expiring so I could take proactive action. This keeps me moving, thanks!
Working as a software developer means I very often would sit the entire day at my desk, only getting up for toilet breaks. Since installing this app though, I'm much more aware of just how little I'm moving during the day. It reminds me to get up and move. I've started going for walks at lunchtime to ensure I'm hitting my daily steps target. Does the job brilliantly. One suggestion would be to add a setting where you can disable the notifications/tracking for certain days.
Nice simple layout, easy to interpret. And does what is says... Read Google Fit data and nags you when you haven't been active. Love it!
Pretty cool app, but I wish you could set your own reminder interval. I would rather be prompted every 30 minutes instead of every hour.
I have a variety of fitness apps, tracking steps, distance, cycling, so on and so forth, all working fine. Move It, however, will tell me *while I'm moving around, walking, running, or cycling!* that I haven't moved much in the past hour. Which I find especially funny when another app will send a notification of the amount I have moved in the past hour. I'm not sure what the issue is, but on my Nexus 6, this is the only app which does not actually track my movement data. I will update my review if this changes, but as of now I will be uninstalling until the next update.
It gives me the nudge I need when I'm being a bit too lazy! Like a little personal trainer in my pocket, it lets me know when I need to get up and move about and also makes me feel good when I have been active. 5 stars!
thanks - I liked it so well, I uninstalled facebook and twitter apps so I could pay more attention to when yours kicked me in the butt :). I also uninstalled the other activity monitors
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Doesn't look flashy, but the way it displays information is nice and effective. My only request would be to add a day snooze to not bug me on certain days, but the hours adjustments cover 99% of my situations anyway! Works well.
Nice wee app :)

Using your Google Fit step data to see when you last went for a walk, Move it will remind you to get on your feet. REQUEST: let me sit max 20 min and then nag continuously.
