J.Notepad for Android
I just didn't like that it I opened another app that the notes weren't automatically saved. I would have to click on the save button.
No dark, very simple, slow
No ads, no access, no permissions.
And need "Backup"
Simply awesome
Great app for simple note taking. Great companion for this dev's to do list app. Both apps have no ads and no permissions. Well done!
Folders, easy, organized
Elegant and effective program. It would be great if upon opening a note: a. assume read mode so the edit cursor / keyboard does not immediately pop up (makes scrolling tricky as you might change something by accident), and b. the view could start at the top line and not the bottom (especially for long notes). Many Thanks!
This app has helped me remember more ideas and plan my work better more than anything I've ever tried. UI similar to brain storage.... Thanks
I am giving 1 star - so that my feedback is heard! In edit mode title takes quarter space, keyboard takes half space. So only quarter space is visible in edit mode. I believe it can be made better. Thanks!
But an option to recover deleted notes is very necessary. Also I hope backup options will be added soon, like exporting to txt or uploading to cloud services.
It's a nice application does as described. But like all other notepad applications it's too easy to edit. I'd like to be able to read my notes without editing or keyboard popping up, basically a read only feature. Can't seem to find this feature on any Notepad application.
Love the simplicity of its design and use. But it could use a few tweaks like including a function to edit folder names, create subfolders, and move folders or notes. Having a settings menu so users can choose their preferences would really be helpful. The "long press to delete" function has caused me an important document because I didn't react fast enough to undo the action. Thank god for backup. Which is also missing in this app. Most crucial function for such an app, no?
So far so good, love the no ads..
Good job.....thank you for your time and effort.
Does the job. Has beautiful design. And it claims AES-256. And no special permissions requirements. It would be nice if I could export. For my fellow geeks: we don't know if they're using ECB or CBC or something else on AES, but it's still far, far better than most other apps.

Nice app.. loved it. Fast and fluid. And no distractions..
Clicking a note a long time delete it without confirmatiom please i have lost imp note due to this feature
Just like on todo :)
And need "Backup"
Tittle taking too much space!!!
Love it!
Simply awesome
It's simple and lightweight, and I like it quite a bit, however some of the buttons and interactions don't exactly do what you'd expect them to do. 1. There's a save button but it's useless since backing out from editing with the back arrow saves the changes anyway. Change the back/cancel the button to discard the changes (maybe with a confirmation dialogue). 2. The save button should probably close the note after saving. Right now you have to go back manually which saves the changes anyway. Thanks :)
salute to developers.. mostly like the looks and light weight. you future is bright i might say. keep it up.

No adds. Minimalist. Saves my notes. Spell check.
Awesome
I just found this and your to-do app. Really top quality stuff so far. A few things I noticed, however. I'm not a fan of the delete by long pressing. I thought it would either select the note or give me options. Also, I think there should be an option in the edit screen to save a note in a folder. Otherwise there's no mobility for notes. The swiping between folders is nice, but not necessarily intuitive. I could see swiping from the right edge opening a list of folders, perhaps? Keep up the great work!
I've been waiting for this and so far it's good, if a little basic. One thing I noticed that when I opened a password-protected note, all the content disappears. Is it a bug?
great design, but it'd be nice to have the option to view notes starting from the top, so I can read long notes from the start without having to scroll all the way up.
It's good to see that you finally published this one as well. I know you've been working on it for a while. First thing I noticed: the notes should auto close when the save button is pressed
FREE, high encryption , Material design, No ads , No permissions ,Supported by TITANIUM BACKUP (no tension while switching ROMs) , Made my day ...
It's a great start dev! Well done. The interface looks nice. Just missing the backup function which we can import and export the notes. And deleting note. It's too easy to delete a note. A long press will just delete the note and even though there's an undo button it still not enough. It should have ask for confirmation or a delete button, not by long pressing it. I like the size of the app. Keep it small size with great features. Keep it up!
Awesome

The save button is often in the way if i need to add on to the end of a note. Very annoying trying to deal with otherwise like it very much
