British Hills for Android
The display on a map feature is great. Links to info about summit features and OS maps to help planning. Only annoyance is they have removed the Trail 100, that I am nearly 50 hills through, from their lists of British Hills. Please, please, please put it back in! And the developer reads/acts on feedback so that I can update my 3 extra hills in the Trail 100 this week. Thanks Adam!
I'm not bagging but it's great for ticking off those that I've done already.
This is a very good app, annoyingly; i was working on a similar one my self but just focusing on the wainwrights for my Uni final project. I hadn't spotted this on my first scan of the Play store as i was using words like Mountain an Peaks rater than hills ( You might get more hits) if you use those words
Enjoyed the app. One sizeable enhancement would be a clickable map to select peaks from, perhaps by UA. One feature, the links to OS map from the NI hill details are Incorrect. And link to the GB grid.
Fantastic, can't fault it, what more can you ask for. Great for listing all of the hills climbed. Note*** would be good if nearby hills also showed (in green highlight) which had been bagged :-)
Latest update has introduced news bugs: Show Nearby Hills freezes app, list Climbed Hills freezes app.. can you revert to an old version until this one is fixed?
Works well and is well built. It is missing a way to backup to the cloud (SD card only at the moment). It would also be good to have bagged/unbagged hills on a map view
Best app I've got, especially since reintroduction of 'guests' geograph photos
Advised to give this app a try Couldn't be better I LOVE IT
Perfect for munro planning and fell run ideas
I love this app. But I loved it even more when it had the list of Trail 100s! The inclusion of this would make it faultless, please put it back!
Can't be faulted, superb app.
Great app for hill bagging. Lost a point as no online/cloud backup feature
This is a really good app, if, like me, you are a hill bagger of any persuasion.
This is a very aesthetically pleasing front end to a fantastic database. I get as much pleasure browsing through it as walking the hills. But what has happened to the photographs? Were there not previously photographs available for most of the hills?
Great app and fantastic support...thank you for the quick fix
awesome
Ace app that let's you tick off the hills and mountains you climb, gives you info on the hills and os maps to show position. A Useful and Handy app.
A lovely app, in fact one of the best. Used it today and found several new dog walks, had a great day out. Got.loads more planed using this application. Thank you very much
A rather useful app. It would be nice to see statistics for totals and progress. ie number climbed for each list, or hills per year. The "Set all/none as climbed" option is very annoying, if you press it accidentally, it wipes out all of your logs. This should have a warning, or some way to undo it.
Best app for bagging - keep up the good work. However, i think it would benefit from a way of listing all the bagged tops that have been climbed regardless of the country. It would be good to include Ireland too. It is also too easy to delete things by mistake. I accidentally removed the tick against a top and that removed all the notes. Tried to restore but that wiped England and Wales completely!!! :'( Needs some failsafe!!
Enjoy using this. Simple but useful.
Nice app which help keeps track of hills climbed.
Wy is there no photos when I click on photo box can you please fix this it was a great way to pick next walk
Pretty good. By the way, Beinn a'Chlaidheimh in Fisherfield has been reclassified - it falls just below Munro height but still appears on the list here.
Well thought out
Would be fantastic if this app could sync with the hill-bagging website. Overall a decent app.
Brilliant app clear, fast, loads information and loads clear OS maps. Highly recommend this. :)
Great app. Use the near me feature every week. Enjoy
A good app and easy to use
Great App!!
Cool app, but you can only filter within hill classification, there really needs to be a "hills I've climbed" page with all your climbed hills on it. Viewing what you've climbed is just hassle as you have to enable filters and select particular lists. Also, the lists for the various English and Welsh hills seem to be the exact same! OS maps are an excellent feature.
No Northern Ireland hills. Pity because it's part of Britian too.
Great app
I actually love this ap, but please why on earth every time I renew my phone do I lose all my data?!having ticked a lot of hills it's becoming too much to keep going through and re ticking them all off! Can you help? Fix that for me and five stars!
Well organized with a lot of good data for free. An assumption is made that the user knows whether the hill they want is a Munroe, Hewitt, marylin, etc. I dont know half these categories! Would be helpful to be able to put in a location (county or postcode, for instance) as well as interrogate map, and get a list of hills local to that area. Can plan ahead then.
A lovely app, in fact one of the best. Used it today and found several new dog walks, had a great day out. Got.loads more planed using this application. Thank you very much
Astonishing app. The best I've installed so far! Comprehensive, easy to use, great database of maps and pictures. First class!
Excellent app for logging all hills walked in Britain

Great app, thank you. One niggle, I had difficulty importing a csv list of peaks exported from hill-bagging.co.uk. After experimenting it seems that the app needs a very specific format for the csv file, ie '1234','YYYY-MM-DD','' including the apostrophes and a blank 3rd column of data. I wonder if this could be made less 'finicky' for future versions, perhaps just using plain text?
