What Bin Day

Was a really useful app and a brilliant idea but unfortunately now won't search address, just comes up blank so can't get the bin dates where I live so useless until fixed. It seems this is now a common issue judging by comments. Please Fix! UPDATE: 5 MONTHS LATER, STILL NOT WORKING. ASSUME NO LONGER SUPPORTED!!!

One star because no help from dev. Have requested help over 6 times now for postcode m26 3bd it used to work till just before Christmas when it stopped. If it has to do with the council all the developer has to do is say it does not work for this council. Remove Bury from the list not just ignore requests for help. Was a very good app before.

Had this app for a while and it was great for knowing what bins to put out for the next day. However the downloading of data keeps failing and can't search for address. Please fix soon.

....no seriously it doesn't work! Put postcode in, then find... but comes up blank for address. Clicked cancel then uninstall. Much easier to check what the neighbours put out

Dev seems to have abandoned this app, a lot of work went into making it compatible with different local authorities and it's been incredibly useful at stopping the pyjama and slippers run from the back to the front to put out the bin. Now though something had broken, probably data availability. Please dev come back and help?

Had this app ages and even though the description suggested it didn't cover my area, it does and covers it accurately. Excellent app, simple, does what it says on the tin. Well done and thanks.

NO LONGER WORKS. Shame as it used to be a great app. PREVIOUS REVIEW: Love this - persistently failed to put out our bins on schedule due to the impenetrable timescales used by the local council until I found this. Always works well even on the custom ROM I'm using, and when I found an error, 48h after submitting it a patch appeared with the brilliant title "Fix for stupid error causing crash on startup." Amusing as well as efficient, thank you :-)

App is now rendered broken and useless. Contacted developer but received no reply in weeks. Can assume that the app is no longer supported which is a shame as it was brilliant.

Unfortunately the app is now dead, no longer updating & is unsupported. It was an essential app and I loved it. Now, it's pointless & will be uninstalled. A shame.

Drop down for my address no longer works so don't know when to put bins out. Seriously you've had enough people complain about this so sort it out!!

When an app is developed I would assume some level of testing before it's released onto an unsuspecting public! You can't even get your address set up therefore it's of no use whatsoever. Have now uninstalled, hopefully never to take up memory again!

Used to be brilliant, now will not download dates or update. Constantly fails now but used to work perfectly.

This stopped working some time ago. Have mailed Dev, with no reply. Shame

Can't select house number for bin route

Everthing works apart from which bin to put out so totally pointless does not surprise me it is Warrington! !!!

Used to be the best app. Recommended to everyone but now doesn't allow me to choose my address. PLEASE FIX ASAP

Looks like it has been revamped however drop down for house number doesn't work therefore doesn't work. Uninstalled!

Never know when recycle or garden waste is, now I will x love the alarm reminder x

Dropdown menu brings up letters and not no so can not select house no have sent e-mail stating this but have not had a reply not only app not working but no one is bothered to acnowlage or sort out issues hence the one star

Drop down address box doesn't work so I can not down load dates/ sounds and it hasn't notified me of which bin is due in weeks

Drop-down menu for house number doesn't open properly and no number can be selected. So app never initializes and is unusable. Shame. Moto G 2nd gen.

Downloaded Leeds Module then WBD onto my S5, same problem as other users. Cant start it because the drop down doesn't find addresses for the postcode which basically renders it useless. Please repair, at which point I will rate again. I used to find this so useful on my old device!

Haven't had any problems experienced by other users and for a free/ad-free app that presumably the developer isn't making any money on, it's brilliant.

Used to work fine and was really useful, but the drop down to select your house number is empty. (Galaxy Note 4, Android 5.x)

Postcode lookup no longer works, and the app is no longer functional as a result.

Used to work until update, now it can't get bin updates.

Hi tried setting up and cannot see any address' in the address bar when i input my postcode. So i cannot set up anything else. I'm in the Wakefield area and using an xperia so compact. Please help?? Regards

Used to be a great app, now unable to download new dates. Just says failed. Can't put my address into settings anymore as once i put postcode and hit find it just pulls up a blank white bar. Tried reinstalling, and still not working. Have send a bug report to developer with this information.

Was amazing and so was the dev. Sadly, this product has now stopped working, and isn't getting updated. I believe Stockport Council changed their website, but the dev has stopped replying to emails. Other areas still appear to be working if you install the add-on.

As app does not work. Rated a one star. Would have given no stars if that was an option
