Great weather app but I have one major issue. The app gives weather in 3 hour intervals but only shows weather for the next 3 hour interval onwards. So, for example, at 12.01 the app shows weather from 15.00 onwards when it would be much better to show the weather from 12.00 onwards. If you could fix this then it would be a 5 star app.

Sadly, this app does not cache for offline use, that is so disappointing because I love the layout and have used the website for ages. Please make it work offline.

Good app, works well, but please give us the option of paying a couple quid for it so we can rid of the brain numbing adverts.

Very good but like a previous comment said, the next 24 hours should be 'hourly' and a 'now' forecast, a widget too and I'll buy.

Great app

I've used the website for some years now so I was keen to try this app. For me it's good start. However there a quite a few effective apps that offer more available. Information such as overall/regional weather plus weather maps would be good for me. Equally - if that sort of thing is added - I would happily pay rather than have the adverts.

I've worked on the sea my whole working life so XCWeather has been checked daily for as long as I can remember, I've only recently found this app... But why not charge extra to have ads removed? Which I'd quite happily do... ads are everywhere & are absolute nonsense!! Great app other than the ads.

Regularly use the xc website as I find the results generally prove to be the most accurate particularly in remote (mountainous) areas. This app seems to be of the same quality.

Great to see XC WEATHER in the app store, been using the web forecast and always found it to be the most accurate. Would happily pay for ad free version.

I use this for rock climbing purposes. Fast and easy to use, not perfect predictions but can't predict the weather 100%. Would recommend to friends over BBC or standard android/Apple inbuilt apps.

Use the website for flying and fishing. Most accurate predictions around. Would be nice if you could add % chance of rain to the forecast. Also at some point an animated weather map.

Been using the web site for a long time. Good info that helps when planning bicycle rides.

Used the Web version for a good while now and it's normally not far off the mark. Great app, well done

I've used the Web version for ages as I find it the most useful for costal sailing. The app is just as good, but faster.

Would be nice to have a widget version. Been using web version every day for last 3 years

Rain only in metric units and font seems a little large.

As an amateur boater I think the information and graphics in this app are excellent. Just ignore the ads!!!

After using many weather apps, I've always found xc weather to be up the top in terms of accuracy. Use the website at the marina I work at too.

... or at least the ads at the bottom of the page do : fyo, no I'm not infected by a virus, nor is my memory full. Uninstalling. Sad really, 'cos it was a good app, butlet down by crummy and annoying advertising.

Great app and most accurate forecasts I find. Hopefully room to great Widgets so I can bin the BBC one.

Have used XC for years. Really pleased they now do an app. Need a widget next and it will be ideal.

Works well. Shame there's no ad-free version but maybe that's on the way.
