Have replied back with reg number but still no joy on the app

Again, will not recognise address. Checked with dealer yesterday and we updated records but still won't work.

A good idea if it worked! Never updates and takes the shine off a new vehicle purchase

Awful app, pointless having it, says my car is still in transit to the dealer, i have it! Time to delete it.

Heard mixed reviews about this app but I was kept up to date with the order of my car by the app and not really had any issues.

The app does not show any services I have had done and does not allow me to change the car reg. On calling VW I was told the app will not show services, does not work and they don't know why. This app has been out over a year and still does not work, worrying that VW cannot solve software issues, does not bode well for car software. just to be clear the services were since i owned the car, go back 18 months, and I rang customer service and it was them who said it was not working

Service information on my car is missing (Apparently I have only serviced the car once in the last 3 years!) Wife's car is just as bad - unless the dealer sold us a car in need of a lot of work. We are following up on this just incase - so far the app has created more confusion than anything. That plus making us doubt the reliability of our local dealer! Nice work Vw!

Still being prompted to get recommended work done despite VW doing the work over a week ago. To be any good it at least needs to update in a timely manner. Service events are also inaccurate!!

Useless...no up to date info on the car. No videos in how to guides are working and and the user manual is displayed so only half a page is visible. Rubbish.

This app is painful to use! I want a downloadable copy of the user manual for a car I spent 50k on, not an online version that keeps changing to German language (it's easier to use the Skoda manual as it's almost the same and I can download it as a PDF!). And it still keeps logging me out!

EDIT: Deleted the ordered car and created a new car and the app now works. On going to the owners manual (on my phone), the page will not scroll left/right, so I cannot read anything other than the menu on the left.

Own a new VW. App seemed like a good idea. Tried to register but app said 'email address already in use. Please supply another email address' How many email addresses does VW demand I own? No thank you! uninstalled!

The owner's manual does not fit the screen and you can't navigate the full width of the page (the same exact problem with the web page).

Is that it? I expected something slightly more interesting than a list of service dates. No service details, not even major or minor. Latest service and MOT is missing.

The whole idea of this app seems to me that you are able to monitor your car from initial ordering right through ownership. Major flaw at present is that trying to input your order number gives absolutely zilch. No point in app if you are unable to track your new vehicle. Utter waste of time.

Pointless app. I have contacted customer services as my car was serviced in March and still no update of this on the app. Told to wait 2 weeks to see if it updates and if not call recontact them again. Really cannot see point of the app when authorised dealers and vw's systems don't talk to each other and update.

Why do you REQUIRE to give you my details such as address as part of registration, before I even see the app? You are doing it wrong.

Why don't you try reading your updates section before posting it? This app has alot of bad reviews. They are 100% not unwarranted. The only time I thought I'd found a use for this app was when I realised I needed to book a service for my car. Turns out you are not able to book your service at the major VW dealer in the centre of Leicester, it does make me wonder where you can book your service? Literally have not been able to find another use.

The apps is slow, keeps logging me out even if i select "keep me logged in". Also when reading the electronic manuals only 60% of page is displayed, can't see right hand side and there is no scroll bar. This is a very poor show from a company like VW, i expected more.

I've had the car for a year now and this app tells me it's not delivered yet ! Just wanted to use the app to book it's yearly service and can't do it. Total waste of time.

Just doesn't work. Ever since I first installed it and entered my details I just get can't connect just now and try again later. Well it's a year later and it still doesn't work. Rubbish - don't bother.

Doesn't recognise my home address so can't use the app or get any info about services/mot etc. Pretty useless app unfortunately.

It just does not work, status is way out of date and downloading technical info for my new car failed. Useless!

Rubbish. Doesn't work. Don't waste your time.

Was able to register ok and it found my car from the order number. However on exploring the app i found the FAQs don't open up when clicked on and it doesn't give much info on status of order. I'm yet to find out if it will correctly update the status of my order is it progresses it's been on "with the factory" for about a month.

Good if u are tracking a new car delivery from factory but not much else after that .shame cos it could be so much better

Absolutewaste of time will not allow me to log I try to register again and it refuses to accept postcode why is everything to do with VW and internet is such a nightmare car net was the same

Just like many others, my car was delivered three months ago but the app tells me it's being prepped, seems vw don't actually give a monkeys about this app or it's impact on there reputation.

App useless, cannot find address so cannot find out the car service history. So I purchased a approved used vw up technical without any paperwork and proof of service history!

Ordered new car in April and now the app is saying the car is being built in August. Far to long.looking at all the other comments it's probably already here and ready who knows

The app tells me my car is still in the build process even though I took delivery 9 months ago.

App is useless at moment, crashes everytime I press your service button.

Doesn't work usefully, I do get the updates tracking my order but they're usually a week late. Get on the VW live chat if you want an update on your order
