Getting started
You’ll need:
- A mobile phone running Android v4.0 or above
- Data access on your device
- A Halifax Ultimate Reward Current Account and your sort code and account number to register
Important Information
This app is operated on behalf of the Halifax by Lifestyle Services Group Limited (LSG) who are also an administrator of the mobile phone insurance and provide the card cancellation benefit which comes with your Ultimate Reward Current Account. LSG is registered in England No. 5114385. Registered Office: Assurant House, 6-12 Victoria Street, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 1EN.

Halifax and/or LSG may change all or part of the Ultimate Reward Current Account app from time to time. Where possible we will give you reasonable notice of any plans to withdraw or replace the app, or stop support for older versions of the app, but may not be able to do so if there are security or other urgent reasons.
LSG and Halifax don't charge you to use this app but your mobile operator may charge you for some services, please check with them. Services may be affected by phone signal and functionality. Terms and conditions apply.
LSG collect non-personally identifiable location data when you use this app. We use this for location based services. LSG, AA Breakdown Services and Google may access data about your location (i.e. GPS signals from your mobile device) which can be used to approximate your location (such as your mobile ID).
LSG and Halifax know security is important to you and want you to feel safe online. When you receive emails as part of this service they will always include your title and surname and the last 4 digits of your account number or the last part of your postcode '*** 1AB'. For text messages, check they come from LSG.
Only details you can update online are the mobile. Al others require a phone call. May as well just store the number in your phone for emergencies and amendments. Disappointed
So many users have reported the problem of the app failing to recognise Gmail email addresses, but they've obviously done nothing to fix it! Have the developers of this app ANY idea how frustrating it is to keep receiving an error message to say you've entered an invalid email address, when there is absolutely nothing wrong with it? This app is a joke - Halifax/Lloyds Banking Group should be ashamed of themselves for commissioning this piece of rubbish.
My mobile phone insurance policy says I need to update the details but the link in the app doesn't work. Without updating the details I can't use the policy. So I've used the website. Not much point in the app then
App wont recognise my details phoned the number and seems people at Halifax don't know about this app and just keep redirecting you
Won't let me log in!! Says I am logged on another device and have to log out of that one... I CAN'T!! I no longer have that device as my phone went for repair! Stupid wants changing to just override on each log in like most apps
I've tried to install the numerous times, but I keep getting an error message saying 'Something went wrong try again later'. Pay monthly fee for an account, but the app doesn't work!?
Once you sign in on one device your locked in to that device forever. Lose your phone and need to install it to a new one? No dice. Crappy security feature.
Tried to register several times using my details. Each time the app didn't recognise them. Had to ring the number instead. RUBBISH
Sent my phone in for repair so factory reset it. Installed the app on my temp phone and it's saying no access as I'm logged in on another device. No visible way to sort this. I doubt I will get help with this as reading through the comments, the app designers never get back to people. Customer service has gone down hill since Howard left.

Can't recognise my personal address, had to use a Gmail one to get going. Fix the registration to use whatever email addresses us users specify (pretty easy, I can give you the regex to validate all valid email addresses if you need it)
Tried several times to register for the app. Unfortunately having rung the URCA helpline, BT are blocking the validation email. Effectively if you have a BT email, registration cannot happen. Disappointing.
Tried a number of times to update my handset details but it doesn't recognise the email address that it asks for and it's the same one I use to login ???? This is after phoning the helpline who recommended using the new app... disappointed !!!! 06/09/16...STILL NOT WORKING A MONTH LATER AFTER PEOPLE COMPLAINING OF EMAIL ADDRESSES NOT BEING RECOGNISE STILL CAN'T UPDATE MY HANDSET DETAILS... DO HALIFAX EVEN LOOK AT CUSTOMERS FEEDBACK ???
App worked the day after installing so unsure why this wasn't working first time. The app does not keep me signed in when selecting to keep me signed on on the toggle at log in. Promising features such as reminders but why can't these then link to say your Google calendar? The app doesn't send you a push notification when a reminder is due (at least not in my experience). The ui is a little clunky and doesn't feel as polished as the main banking app.
Wont even let me create an account, when registering the app just says 'there was a problem'. Absolute waste of time.
I used this app when I had to make a claim on the phone insurance. However it now thinks I'm signed in on another device because I didn't sign out before doing a factory reset. Because of those I now cannot use the app at all with my login. How do I sort this??

All though the idea of the app is good, I registered using the website version and then installed the app on my S7 but was unable to log in and all I keep getting is that I'm logged in on another device. I'm not logged in on another device as I have checked numerous times but I'm still unable to log in to use the app.
Needs a way to sign out of all devices. I opted to stay signed in on my mobile phone which was then sent for repair, I received a replacement phone but I now cannot log in because I'm still signed in on the old device i no longer have access to.

Was OK there first time I used it then I had problems with my phone so reset it and since then I can't log in to this app and it says I must log out of my other device! That's impossible as I've reset my phone! Surely there has to be a way round this??????
