Others might think you are listening to music but really you are applying the treatment prescribed by your audiologist. This is an Update to original Tinnitus App v.1.2. Uses TRT (Tinnitus Retraining Therapy) method to habituate the mind to 'tune out' the sound.

I use this app to help me sleep..otherwise I probably wouldn't get any!! I have been using it for over 6 months. My tinnitus still has not gone away but I do have some days where it is completely gone!! Thank you for this app!!

I haven't tried following the directions yet (using just one ear bud). I will, but having just downloading it, have plugged speakers into my device, and listen that way for now. It is far, far better than white noise generators for camouflaging that awful high-pitched "ringing" which in my case sounds more like a constant, loud, high-frequency hiss. Basically, 90% of what I hear when it is on is the app, while the remaining 10% is still the ringing, however, I barely notice it. While method is no cure, and I assume doing per the instructions will be better, sleep comes much easier since the advent of this Tinnitus app versus just white noise. It is a wonderful sound, and I do not understand the negative reviews at all. Highly recommended to all tinnitus suffers.
