LG Health Launcher for Android
This simple app gives you that icon back, so you can access LG Health from any launcher you like.
Please note, will ONLY work on devices with LG Health pre-installed.
Counts steps great if phone is in pocket. The exercise stats in week view displays the current day as the previous day. (Minor nuisance) It misses some steps when viewing phone while walking, should be able to tell I am walking at a certain pace and know when I am looking at my phone and walking. Calories calculation for walking is about 60 pct of what it should be. Calculation needs to be updated. So a few areas need improvement. But nice daily graphs for stats and easy to use.
I hate to update but there was no choise. After update to 4.21, there is no steps counted. It was so good to know how many steps I walk a day. But no more now. Too bad.. Do not update if it is possible!
I opted for more frequent measurement by Google. That was a real bad error. More frequent is eating up my bandwidth more than a movie would! There is no instruction on LG on how to turn it off or turn it back to normal! If google has any ideas please email me!
After the Android update to Marshmallow, the app over calculates steps when it was very accurate before. I did a 10k today and it said I ran 7.37 miles. That is way over a 10k (~6.5miles). I also am sorely missing the graph the app had before the update. It easily let you switch between calories, distance covered, and steps all on a very nice and easily legible graph. I have to say I am very upset with the changes of the update. Please return it to it's wonderful functionality!!
Was a very good app but since update to marshmallow it does not work. Used to go for 5 mile walk and it registered over 10,000 steps. Now take same route and it says 6 miles and 4600 steps. That comes out to be 6.88 feet per step. Hope they come up with an update for the app soon so it will work
Works just perfect for me an my life style. Thank you LG G3
This app is useful. I really don't like that they tell you your goal weight instead of letting you pick your goal
I use to love this app. I would compete with myself to get more steps each month. Since the update I can't even see previous months stats, including my monthly and yearly average. I'm very disappointed.
It sucks that you have to have a separate device to track the heart rate when S Health did not have such a requirement. Plus, this app only tracks cardio activities. No stretching, weight lifting, dancing, etc. Pitiful!
I download the app and will not work with my LG Stylo. My husband has the LG G4 preinstalled and no issues.
Doesn't register any steps, regardless if my location is on or off. I can only get it to register if I'm recording a track and even then it registers me at previous places no where close to my current location!! Please fix!!
After my phone updated to marshmallow this app won't tell me how many miles I did. The milage counter is why I used to like this app. Change it back.
When my phone upgraded to android 6.0 it doesn't work. It says unfortunately it has stopped
Total crap all apps count all the jerks even while u drive on road, my daily activity is 200% in 1 hr while i drive on road
I cant get pass making a profile. It wont let me save.
Lg g3 doesnt have a shortcut icon. So if you don't use stock launcher, you can open it with quick circle. Its a shortcut
LG - please fix this bug! No modifications to my G3 & the app regularly doesn't record data. It simply does not record any of my steps or running (randomly). The work-around is to hit the menu, select "Record exercise type" (already checked), uncheck this box, then close the app, then open the app, then re-check the "Record exercise type" box. I would un-install, then re-install this app... but that isn't an option on the G3.
The app can't tell if I'm in a car or if I'm walking.
Am sorry, but this app on my lg leon.. It's a peace of.............thanks
This app was on my phone when I bought it, but the launcher disappeared. When I installed the app again it doesn't launch. Seems like LG apps should work on an LG phone.
Pls patch it so i can use it in lg g4c
app won't open on my lg g4 but opens perfectly fine on my girlfriends lg g4
I cannot use it on my lg G4, it is not located in the smart bulletin and everytime i go into the normal app icon it says unfortunately lg health has stopped. Please help.
The Marshmallow update... I don't want to see percentages. I want to see the old lg health smart bulletin.
After marshmallow update, you can't see your steps, or distance traveled unless you manually record a workout. So pretty useless to see your step count or total distance traveled for the day. Come on LG!! Or is it Androids fault?
"Unfortunately, LG Health has stopped." Nexus 6P, Marshmallow 6.0.1
Hello, I just got a new phone and it came equipped with the lg health launcher. I input my information and it informed me that I should be eating a diet around 480 calories and taking 17,000 steps a day. I realize that I am overweight however starvation is not a healthy way to lose it. And even if I could follow the diet suggested there is no way I would have the energy to walk the 17000 steps. I realize this is probably just an algorithm but it could result in some real damage. Please fix
Every time I open it it just stop working
I ran 14 miles yesterday and it says I walked 13,000+ steps yet I only burned 315 calories?!? I walk a lot for work and I don't think it records many of my steps. It's very frustrating. It's a good start but needs work.
There is no more ways to see weekly and monthly summary of the activities - bad surprise. Removing features is not a good idea. I would add an annual report as well.
App is working great but when using map view, map won't move with location. I have to manually slide map to see current location. Also when viewing stats like distance, average speed, etc... I would also like to see speed. Keep up the good work LG.
Disappeared from my phone and now forces closed without opening after install.
Doesn't work on the lg stylo
Used to work great, since update it won't stay logged in no matter how many times I log into my LG account. Uninstalling until its fixed because it pops up with that logged out notification every. hour. on. the. hour O_o
I'm obviously doing something wrong, but the app is often not registering any exercise at all. Not sure why it works sometimes, but other times it does. I want to like the app! Using an lgg3
Only estimates steps by GPS. Can't tell if you are moving short distances or up and down stairs.
Gotta love droid. Nice workaround, LG really should have had this set up from the start instead of that unsightly smart panel.
This app should be included as a stand alone access to LG health. For those who don't want the annoying smart bulletin.
Perfect. Don't know why LG didn't include this link.

after the update to the Android Marshmallow the LG Health counts much too many steps. according to the app, I walked and cycled 23 km yesterday, between 24 and 1 am, while I was sitting/dancing in the club. that's just one of the examples. and sometimes it doesn't "notice" I've been walking. it's not useful anymore.
