Realtime Trains for Android
Finance this guy so he can build more cool stuff!!
The website is much better and costs nothing.
Bought over THREE years ago on the promise of future update to freight and special trains, but this has never happened. A pity, because without that, it's nothing different and same info. is available in other apps for free. Crashed when looking for train details. Uninstalling, wish I'd not paid for it.
setting for automating switch of a sound to headset if inserted would be really usefull for stop reminder. map at the srartup of app annoyes. delayed train stops are not precise - still shows all stops, even if train is passing some stations. otherwise good app.
An app would have been the perfect opportunity to address the shortcomings of the (excellent) website - refreshing, real time stuff, etc. Sadly, though, they've missed a trick - the app seems to be trying to scratch an itch I certainly never had, but at the cost of all the rich detail available on the site. And without being a particularly useful "simple" tool, either.
The app is OK but doesnt do half of what the website does and frankly a waste of £2.99. I would like to be able to search on headcodes and see the detailed information on journeys. Junctions, ECS etc.
Needs freight and junctions. Not worth the money when free apps can do what this app does. Crashes on samsung edge. No use at all.
No advanced option which was my primary aim to use this app. However if requiring basic information then a relevant decent and easy to use app at your finger tips
Unless you want to support the website, which I still have to use because this app is terrible.
The only app that tells you which platform the train departs from at London Euston a long time before the screens show it.
This app isn't as good as its parent website, but it's still pretty good for casual use.
Unlike the website, this will only show basic information and not the detailed information available on the website.
Gives you details of platforms before they are on the boards, and a handy alarm setting to wake you up a few minutes before your train arrives at its destination.
Like many others, wanted this to track freight and specials, the app description should make it clear that these features are not available
Used to be a very useful app. Now it waits for ever while loading a departure board.
Finds what trains i need and shows freight trains passing for the train spotter.
Bought it well over a year ago on the promise of future update to freight and special trains, but this has never happened. A pity, because without that, it's nothing special and same info. is available in other apps for free.
Ok if trains are on or close to on time, it can't handle short notice the delays and cancellations associated with major incidents like fatalities. It just carries on like nothing is wrong despite the carnage other apps like Network Rail's are showing.
This really is a poor app when compared to web pages - I'm v interested in freight movements for photography - this app provides NO data all
Gives you details of platforms before they are on the boards, and a handy alarm setting to wake you up a few minutes before your train arrives at its destination.
Comes in had handy but requires more features.
So I purchased this 2 years ago and I'm still waiting for freight...
No hiding place for any train now!
Good app, would be useful if you included in the much needed updade include heritage lines so that enthusiasts could track thier favorite steam engines on and off the main line
Annoyingly slow to find GPS location, and no more info provided than the Train Operation Company versions. The Web page version of this product is however far more detailed. Many more way points shown. Why not shown on the App. I paid £3 for less service, Web version is free!
Big disappointment! When will the App be the same as the web "Advanced"?
Has none of the functionality which makes the website version so useful.
Live Trains on a map then you get 5 stars
I was expecting as much detail as the website gives but I was sadly mistaken
It's a amazing app that tells you when your train arrives and what station its at. Now I'm waiting for the freight times and this app will be complete.
Real-time it works 100%
Installed twice, crashes on opening. Waste of money.
No freight trains etc, a shadow of what's on the web. A real shame because without more detail it's not fit for my purposes. Other free apps are actually better.
Since I have been introduced to this app I didn't stop using it, I love it. One thing, would it be possible, in the pinned schedules, to see the departure platform of each service? It would save a lot of time!
Simple and effective, does what it does with elegant efficiency. But it seems to me there is a real and probably large specific market that none of these services quite answer: the info needed not by passengers but by *greeters*. Someone says "I'm on the 1202 from Liverpool Street to Ipswich" - and what you need to know is what time it gets to [selected station en route] so you can meet them there. This app sort of does that incidentally but not far enough ahead in time.
You are limited to only seeing trains in the 60 min and dose not show not in service trains complete waste of money .
I was expecting as much detail as the website gives but I was sadly mistaken
Accurate and quick to use

Not working. Can select station but departure board never loads,
