Once you’ve downloaded the app, login using your existing Spark ‘My Account’ username and password. If you don’t have an online account yet, that’s okay, just register using your account number and postcode – it couldn’t be easier.
We’ve designed the app for use on a mobile. It isn’t adapted for use on a tablet yet but don’t worry, if you’re having problems you can still manage your account online using the ‘My Account’ feature on our website, sparkenergy.co.uk.

The app is poorly designed, and lacks the most important feature in the world of smart meters. I can't top up my pre-payment meters via the app. This makes the entire app pointless for me, and I have to traverse to the browser to be able to do this. Considering all my account info is there, you would have thought that the ability to top up a smart meter would be native.

Looks good but interface is rubbish. No ability to submit a meter reading in the section provided and entering the payment details was unnecessarily difficult. When speaking to customer support I got little in the way of empathy and just patronized in the sense that it worked on their end so I must not understand how an app works. Unimpressed with the company as a whole.

So far so good. Meant to be a phone app only.. But successfully down loaded it on to my Lenovo 10 tablet. Up and running in minutes!! Having a pre payment smart meter fitted soon. Need to see how easy it is to top up using this app.. Then maybe 5 stars! Like I said.. So far so good!!!

App rejects my login details yet i can log into website with them. Had same issue with the beta version of the app which required passwords to have a capital letter-mine does not have one. Please correct the app so same details can be used to log in from both app and PC

A very glitchy app that is missing basic functions like the ability to move back to a previous screen. I am unable to make a Paypal payment and it tells me that my card is not an accepted form of payment - I have a Visa Debit card. If it did as it was supposed to, it'd be very helpful and would make me more likely to continue to use Spark, however, there are other utility companies out there with apps that actually work. Since having a convenient way to pay is important to me, I may consider leaving. However, I will leave the app installed for a month or so to see if there are any improvements as the idea of the app is brilliant and if not anything else, I can at least check my balance. If things change, I will keep using Spark and change my review.
