Great curries although as mentioned in another review proofreading could've been better. Some of the recipe ingredients differ from the blog and the book

Excellent range and easy to follow recipes. The end result is always a great tasting curry. Would of given 5 stars if the recipes has some sort of proof reading - mistakes and missing text are probably the result of a rushed cut and paste. Also the size of the app (200+mb) is relatively large -probably due to the photos used. There is no need for a large app when its fundementaly text and photos. Overall though, the time and effort put into the recipies far outweighs any little niggles.

Currys are fine. Good even. It's my go-to resource for curry recipes. So why 3 stars? Well, not having used it for a while I opened it to get a recipe and it decides to update itself and "restore my purchase". Both of these activities seem to require downloading large content from the internet. Which, already having downloaded it, seems a bit odd. And very frustrating given the speed of my rural internet connection. As I type this I've been waiting 5 minutes and the little blue bar is saying 10%

Very good app, it's also really handy to have on my phone when cooking. Recipes are detailed and easy to follow. I like the photos of each stage too, it's a helpful addition. This is a must-have for anyone interested in restaurant style cooking, by which I mean, Aye, it looks and tastes the same! Thanks, Dan.

Always been a huge curry fan and am finding making my own with this app is a lot more fun than ordering a take away. Great dishes.

Great app saves taking paper into the kitchen. The recipes are fantastic and very tasty, but, take care with the Measures suggested, especially the chili lol

I've been a Dan fan for a couple of years now and his recipes are very good and varied but easy to make.

Need more accompanying veg curries to supplement the mains such as saag, channa masala,eggplant (bharta), simple veg curry

I think the app is good, brilliant graphics and I like the style. I won't be buying the unlock until I try some more recipes and like them. I do think the £4.99 seems steep for a recipe app but realise a lot of work goes in. A really useful feature would be as you open a recipe you enter the number or servings you want and the quantities are calculated automatically. When working through the step by step it would be nice to see the calculated quantities to avoid referring back to the ingredients list when the oil is hot and risk burning the spices. I dont measure out the spices beforehand and suspect that many are in the same boat. Keep up the great work!

Recipes are very good, the base sauce is fantastic. The chicken garlic chilli recipe is the best curry I have ever tasted! The last update fixed restore purchase issue, thank you!

Once you've made the base sauce, making up a lovely curry is a piece of piss

I've home cooked curry for years and like the variety here - I haven't had the chance to try out the recipes as I've just bought it - just wanted to comment on the light speed response from the Dev, very good support.

Just tried my first recipe - a Murug Daiwahala- and it was excellent . I found the step by step function very useful. Looking forward to trying out more of the recipes.
