Crime Map England & Wales

Really bad.

I am looking to move house and have used this previously to check areas. Since I upgraded my phone, this app no longer seems to work, just keeps whirling around showing a clear blue screen.

Back up and running again.

This app has now been 'loading' for the past ten minutes. When I first downloaded it, it showed a map with coloured pins, but I have been unable to obtain either the 'crime data' pages, as shown above, or the oblique map views. There seems to be no invitation to contact the developers to sort out these problems, so I have decided to delete it from my phone.

Instead it shows which area you were looking at half an hour ago, then tells me error loading from server again. Neighbourhood info does not load, which was the best part of the app when it worked. Worked better before the updates.

Having once made the mistake of renting a room for 6 months in what looked like a nice area but was in fact Mogadishu by night, being mugged twice and having my car broken into 3 times. This app is invaluable when it comes to renting in a city you don't know.

Cannot view lists Soxf individual crimes any more - just comes up with "multiple crimrs" when tap on a red pinpoint marker. Otherwise very good useful app - especially for the phkic who want to help police And make it a safer happier area to live in

This app hasn't been updated in a while you can only view from Nov 2014 were now in Jan 2015! Also the bubbles stick when you click on another pinpoint with a different colour it will say the one before! And stays with that! I wouldn't recommend this app to anyone till it's all up and working properly! seems to me that the police aren't so bothered to share what's going off in our community as we first though they would be after this app came out!

Shame doesn't offer more details about the crime but I guess limited by what is released publicly

Pin description doesn't update when new marker selected; original description from previous marker continues to be displayed. This problem was originally reported a while ago. Doesn't accept road names as input, only post codes which are not always known! Needs some bug correction and more development. Positive is it's free !!!!

Pretty useless if u want to know what's happening within the last month. Need to update more often

Works well now except it tends to stick with the information of one balloon when moving to others, until you change months and go back again v good though

Description says it all. App just displays loading all the time and won't show any pins or loaf up the latest months data. This was interesting just to have a look about and see where crime was being committed but now useless. EDIT: Updated today. 12/01/15 and now instead of just sitting there continually loading. It now just force closes and stops just after it opens. So, in fact instead of fixing a problem, it has actually gotten worse. Great job fellas. Totally useless now.

Pointless…

Even selecting only burglary won't load the information the "same day"

Doesn't download any crime figures. It's basically a Google map with an advert.

Waste of time, battery will run flat before it loads. Just sits there saying "loading local info" and then "network connection lost" I am on home wifi so that's b*@@*cks. Don't bother downloading. "Crime Nearby" is much better option.

Have tried day after day, just displays "loading".

Might as well just look at a map doesn't load anything about crime or even find the postcode when typed in

DOESN'T show ANY Crime Pins as it's FOREVER Loading and then timing-out. Uninstalled.

Hasnt done anything for at least 2 months. Was ok before, but no updates and keeps saying network problems. Uninstalled then reinstalled but still the same.

Simply doesn't work on either a tablet or my s5. Gets to loading data and that's it, nothing. Used to be great when it did work so... Fix it or remove it please

Doesn't load on Samsung Galaxy S3, good by app.

No data, no pins or anything, useless just says loading permentely .. Now uninstalling ..
