Why isn't this functionality built into Android?!

Had to adjust the settings in the search bar widget, not the phone menu settings. Now I don't have to open the calendar to search got an event.

Excellent! Read the instructions carefully! I.e. to search calendar start with words 'cal'.

You should allow the option to store the data or program on the "SD CARD" on android mobile phones! Your program takes up too much main memory space!

Does not work... The setup instructions are not correct. There is menu in settings like described and cannot search google calendar.

Lg optimus does not seem to have "search" under settings. How do I enable searchify?

Purposely tested to see if finds an event I'd entered into calendar and failed.

This really should be built-in functionality! Wish it had app2sd, I doubt the widget would break since it's stock anyway!

Works alright, needs to work faster for practical use

Unfortunately the settings app on the Z1 doesn't include Search settings. The only place I've found to control search is in the Google app itself (or from Google Now) and Searchify doesn't show up there.

Can I somehow specify the order of the dates found for events are sorted? Right now, they seem randomly ordered. It's working so much better than Android standard search. Thanks!

I updated to JB and now the searches do not show up. Needs to be fixed.

Searches calendar! Just have to open search and change settings to allow app then change app settings as desired. Very nice.

Works great but... Be sure to UNCHECK Google and CHECK Searchify in Search/Searchable items. If you don't, the search button will only invoke Google Search. Also: it DOES search calendar but... Calendar and some other options require a keyword (cal searchitem for calendar search). (Touch the icon and it will show you the required keywords.)

Downloaded this bc I liked Touch Calendar from same developer. Can search Calendar fr Touch Calendar. Uninstalling to reclaim memory - never used. N1

Must have 4 rooted phone to keep calendar search. Plus 6 added search. Categories. Would pay 4 this app it works!

This is too awesome. Tip:add lots of shortcuts and make searchify your only search provider
