Vignette is one of my primary apps. I saw that it had received a major update and was concerned that the "spirit" of the app had changed. I believe it has only improved! Vignette was always an app that had something of a learning curve to get the most from it because if offers a great deal. But,personally, I feel the time spent with it allows one to make images with great character & resonance. Wish list: more in house editing tools, such as curves, highlight/ shadow adjustments, etc.

Used to love this app. But the one feature it had for many years that differentiated it from all the other photo apps was removed a while back and until it returns vignette basically becomes "just another photo app". Bring back the ability to view the shot using the filter before taking the picture, and this would be the best app easily. But for now it's no better or worse than the native phone camera app, but is slower to open. So nowadays i rarely use it.

Vibrate mode is the most liked feature by me. No whare I found this feature in any good camera app. I don't have to look at the screen every time I take a photo. This gives good flexibility. --- Now a days I am forced to review every photo I take on the spot by this app. That's not the way I work. Settings does not help either. Buggy.

This app is so so good...and so fun. Please don't change anything!! Maybe some new presets and filters but please leave the interface alone!!! 5 stars all the way!!

Yes, yes, yes! Vignette is finally back. This is the 4th review, at least I've written for this app. It has finally returned to its former glory,like an old heavyweight champion that has regained the crown. Seems that all functionality has returned and for the first time in 3yrs it is the #1 camera app on my phone. Thanks for all the hard work. I am so excited to be taking photos with vignette again. Ps. Could you include descriptions of all the filter names and settings. Maybe in an additional help file or something? Or as a little pop up information file while checking filters. Would make creating personal presets much easier.

I've just realised that I've not written a review after all these years. I love this app. I take lots of photos but they are all with purpose. This is the app I use to take photos for the sheer delight of it

With the latest update, customising filters is clear now and easy to do. Again the best lomo camera app available.

Still love this photo. Thanks for bringing back the ability to use my favorite effect before taking a photo.

Very frustrating layout. The filters and frames are of good quality but there are far too many steps involved in changing filters that the app becomes a huge pain to use. I have been involved with the cell phone photography community for 8 years and have tested many editing apps over the years. I reached out to the developer because I do think there is a lot of quality content but received a very snide remark in response. After reading some other reviews here that echoed my thoughts, I can see that I'm not alone in my frustration. The developer seemed to be very offended by my constructive criticism. It's quite a shame because this app has potential.

As a long time user of this app i can say that the newest update is horrible. You took a great app and literally made it user unfriendly. Update: The program does not save my photos to ANY gallery. I have gone from having a program that was my "go to" for photos, to pretty useless.

I've used Vignette from my very first Android. It was such a fantastic app. Now it's just horrible and complicated. I MISS PRE-FILTERS!!!!

By far my favorite camera app! The sheer number of customization options, plus overall quality of the UI makes this app worth every penny.

I used to love this app. One of the only apps I will ever purchase. My heart broke after the update removed all the effects and pretty much everything that made it so awesome. Please bring back the older version interface and features!!!

produces amazing pictures. that's all that matters. incredibly configurable should you want to or just use stock effects

Love the filters but why every after i took photos with this app my ringtone volume went up to maximum? ???? My phone is Asus just fyi

The new layout is less easy to use. Disappointed that the Facebook cover photo size has been removed.

Cannot mute the camera shutter sound on pixel...very annoying

Used to be able to time and date stamp. Can't on galaxy s6 edge. What happened?

I don't understand.... Why the total change of the layout again.... It's very stiff to my opinions. And i really prefer take the photo at its original way then split second change to the effect.style....

Vignette is a great camera app. I've been using it for many years, and it has never disappointed me in the past.

Currently it messes up saving photos shared with the app from my phone's gallery (loses pretty much all metadata including file location). Can only edit existing photos by using import within the app itself. Please fix. Other than that, this long time user (since froyo!) took a bit to reorientate myself with the new app, but it's now (eventually after a few attempts) better to use with all the fine adjustments of the effects and frames to hand. The old cartoony interface always irked me so the app looks infinitely better.

IMO a must have for any android photography lover. Most often I leave the photos as taken by Vignette and rarely edit them in other apps. The filters are lovely and made me a square photo (this was the first camera app supporting this option on Android afaik) convert to such degree that I even square-ify photos taken with my P&S etc.. And yes, this was before instagram. The dev is also very responsive, I had an issue with the metering modes not working properly on my cheap phone and they have fixed it quite fast. All in all, 5 stars from me :-)

I paid for it and it doesn't work now. Pease fix or go back to an earlier version.

It was awesome but horrible with the new update. There was an option called vignette in the previous versions, i don't see it anymore

The only complaint I have is the almost daily updates. On the one hand, it shows you're very responsive. On the other hand, it kinda seems like you're just patching on the fly rather than getting it right the first time. Otherwise, I got no complaints. Been using the paid version for several years now.

*Desperately* needs an option to remove frame aspects, as I sometimes want the original image ratio. I also miss being able to choose from non-favorite stock effects at the shooting screen, but this is a personal nitpick. Maybe have that as a drop down menu under saved effects? The tobacco shift filters don't seem to have a P option, how does this work? o.o Keep up the good work devs, and thank you for listening to reviews. I've added a star for that.

Coming from apps like Hipstamatic and Camera+ I bought this app. What a disappointment!!! Nothing of the likes. Unfortunately I bought the app and didn't discover it's poor useability until after the two hours of money back guarantee had passed. This is not a very good app to take pictures with. TBH, I have no idea how come so many has given it 4 and 5 stars...

A good camera app that provide many feature including a date/time stamp. The way the app arrange their feature give user awareness of resolution vs file size. Would be great if they implement Google photo sync feature in future releases.

Small in size but with many options, precisely right for my old galaxy tab 7.0
