Set DNS Pro

I purchased the PRO unlock a while back. Went to reinstall. But you need the standard version for this to work. But now the standard version is nowhere to be found, not even with the link provided. DO NOT BUY THIS APP !!!!

Does not work on my nook

I purchased this awhile back, and when I have tried to reinstall it after resetting my phone, it's now missing????!! You can download the PRO version (which is what the author charges for) but this is worthless without the main (free) app. These guys should be reported.

This software has been abandoned. I've sent the dev an email with no reply. Dev you should be embarrassed.

No option to make the pro key icon visible/hide.

You need to root your phone for this to work, but that isn't mentioned in the app's description (and if it is, it's not visible enough) so I paid for an app that will work only when I'll finally manage to root my phone... except that once rooted I wouldn't need any darn app to set DNS, I could do it in a terminal emulator. In other words, this app would work only for those who don't need it. ITALIANO Non funziona se non si ha l'accesso root, quindi ho pagato per un app che funzionera' solo quando riusciro' finalmente a fare il root. Solo che avendo i permessi root non avrei bisogno di un app per configurare il DNS, potrei farlo direttamente con un emulatore di terminale. Cioe, insomma quest' app funziona solo... per quelli che non ne hanno bisogno!

Worked great in the past. Now comes up with an error saying that part of the program is missing that I can no longer find on the Play store market. Also is now requiring For access. To bad. Deinstalling...

Im using htc one and rooted, while i try to download the list of dns. The direct link doesn't work!

Don't detect when wifi network has changed. Stays on static ip. Needs to detect network change, get a new ip then set it's static settings

Wish I found this earlier. It's a VERY EASY TO USE app that makes me feel safe when combined with a good vpn. Priceless!

Bought it because of the widgets, and it was well worth it! Now I can easily use Netflix even though I live in Norway.

Where is the parent app, either put it back on the store or give me my money back.

Doesn't work at ask with my Samsung android galaxy. The developers response to queries is very poor.

This app is just what I needed and complement the SSH tunnel I use with public, hotel, airport, or other open networks that you're unsure of. Totally reasonable price too!

I'm using this to set the DNS on my kids tablet to the Family Shield Open DNS and its working perfectly. I was using ROM Toolbox but when I would check, the DNS would be reset to default after a little while.

Installed the latest android and now the base app is not available. Not working anymore.

I'm on a Motorola Xoom WiFi Only Android 4.0.3 Non-Rooted. So for now if that's what you have I wouldn't recommend purchasing and downloading this application. Worked fine on my Evo 4G Cyanogen mod 7 Rooted though.

You can change the DNS in WiFi settings... Dont pay for what you do not need

Easy to use and the speed increase is extremely noticeable (Xperia Arc)

Well worth the upgrade price but wish you could hide the icon in the drawer.

Dont bother buying the Pro version, it doesnt do anything the free version doesnt do. the only reason I bought pro was to unlock the non-rooted version, yet it doesnt do that or anything else that its supposed to do. chance it if you want but it will be a waste of money.

Pointed to OpenDNS, lock wit password and local DNS get addressed after a few minutes. No help from developer after emailing for a fix. I think he is stumped. Rooted Toshiba Thrive stock ICS.

Says applying, but does nothing apparently and returns DNS to prior settings.

The pro app claims to be compatible with my phone. (Xperia Z1c) but the standard app isn't - hence the purchase was useless for my intended device

Don't waste time as it needs the SetDNS app, though it doesn't show to download, even when the app is open and hitting, the link that should redirect to the download. Before I put this review I sent an email to the company and so far no answer from them, not even an automatic email telling me that they have received it.

It worked during the trial but after i upgraded it doesnt change my dns.
