Takes all the data in the SRP (http://www.straightrazorplace.com) Straight Razor Database and aggregates it into an a format easy to search and view on your device.
Look at different information about various straight razors - both old and new - and their manufacturers!
The first screen you will encounter is a list of all manufacturers listed on the SRP wiki. If you select one of those then you will see a screen with a list of all razors made by that manufacturer, as well as the manufacturer itself. Upon selecting one of those, you will be taken to a screen containing all the content on the wiki, with the option to open that item in a browser.
This app is both free and ad-free - and always will be!
Please remember that all data is taken from the SRP website and therefore an active data connection is required. The SRP site must also be available.

Had given app 1-star with caveat that "I really wanted this to work." Been checking it from time to time, kept getting that warning followed by a FC (Forced Closed). Delighted to see it's working now! Lots of information on most-known straight razors including thumbnail pictures. Not seeing American Products Co. of Ohio 11/16" full-hollow that I own and use, made circa 1911-1955 but it's a bit obscure and unknown so not surprised (few know much about them, including me). Nice work otherwise, very detailed!

It's connected fine with me. I'd love to see a search option added. So I can search a model or manufacturer etc . Not all razors gives much detail as to their origin. So to be able to add a search word. Also the ability to enlarge image would be fantastic. Looking forward to seeing it developed in the future. Keep up the good work. Well done.

I want this to work. Says I don't have a connection while I'm here on that same connection. This could be that I'm using home WiFi? I'm financially unable to pay for monthly data plans, so I have no choice. All my apps run over my WiFi, usually with little trouble, so I'm unclear why this one says it can't find a data connection, FCs while I'm connected right now posting this message, yet this app doesn't open. Please fix. I hope my info helps developers find a cure! I'd love to see it, over my home WiFi.
