Click on the radar image to select a radar type. There are two type of radar images: the realtime and the forecast radarimages. With the realtime radarimages you can zoom into a region. Click for 2 seconds or longer to select a region.
To select a regionale text forecast, click for 2 seconds or longer on the text forecast.

Maps section leaves GPS on after exiting until app is killed (GPS doesn't seem to add any function that is useful). Maps and UK weather forecast sometimes not updated frequently enough. Developer was extremely slow to slow to remove adverts from paid version (I bought it to be ad free!). Now I am getting them again and satellite images are not loading (supposed connection error). Expected much more from a paid app. Really needs updating and GPS bug fixing. Often glitchy. Oh dear! Uninstalling.

A useful app, but I have realised recently that the app seems to be the main cause of battery draining I've been seeing lately. I see also that others have noticed this. It would be nice to know what - if anything - the developers are going to do about this quite big problem.

Isn't real time as intimated. May be every 5 mins, but there's a 15 min delay. Doesn't update itself. You have to manually refresh. No zoom on map. You have to use clunky "regions" option. Holds GPS on, even when in background, which kills the battery. This means you have to manually kill the app after every use or end up with a flat battery. All in all, exceedingly poor.

Ok, this app is good at what it's designed to do but it is limited. There are no custom settings and it doesn't look very pretty. But I cannot see why it's double the price of other editions when it still only covers one country.
