Break Time for Android
Nice little app but you can't change the work or break times to anything but 25 and 5 minutes. I need more flexibility.
Notification is too low. Didnt hear it. No way to change volume.
It seems neat, but notifications don't work so I miss when it's break time!
Basically just runs a timer. No pop-up notifications or... well, notifications of any kind. Not really useful at all.
it needs work here and there with the volume and notification but otherwise it's awesome
Highly recommended! If you want a timer that works better than an alarm, is totally customizable, this is the perfect app! I emailed the developer to see if the work time could be increased. Still give it 5 stars.

I can't do anything else with my phone without stopping the timer.
too much work to get it to work like i wanted!!!

Good idea, badly executed
The timer resets during on pause() events. Please save the timer state using onSaveInstanceState(), and restore it via onRestoreInstanceState().
It's a perfect tool. Other than the fact that it's alerts are almost impossible to notice. The audio one is super-quiet, almost imperceptible. The vibration isn't very noticeable either. Would be nice to have: - MUCH LOUDER volume - More noticeable vibration (maybe a triple-vibrate along with an option to repeat every x-seconds or something) - Option to have screen turn on a flash (in case phone is sitting on desk and I can't feel the vibrate and the ringer is muted at the time).

I really like the concept of it and its helped reduce my tension headaches by 50%. However, I wish I could change the notification sound. The current tone is hard to hear even when I adjust the phone's and background noise's volume.
Doesn't work when sound muted
I love this app. It runs super well on 4.2 and even paranoid android 3+. I use it for my art, and it is flexible and clean. No ads, and I hope to see more like it in the future. I'd also like to see a widget.
I like the simplicity of the interface; achieving my goal of remembering to take breaks and resume working on a schedule without needing to spend a long time configuring the app to my needs. I saw in some of the other reviews that some folks had a problem with the timer not continuing to run when they were using a different app on their phone. Either that is an old problem that was fixed, or a problem specific to their phones. On my Motorola Defy, going to another app worked correctly, reminding me in the middle of reading a book on the Kindle app.
I never hear a sound play when the timer counts down to zero. I've got the play sound and vibrate settings enabled, but it seems to do neither, even with screen still on.

If the screen is off, it doesn't notify me if it's time already to have a break or to resume working. It only notifies when you turn on the sceen again. It defeats the purpose if you're going to turn on the screen from time to time.
I find this app very helpful. I use it for computer breaks, whilst my phone is tethered to my computer, so i have no power drain issues.
but it is could use a feature that allows you to set your work schedule. That way the app can run automatically in the background throughout the day.
Just make it run in background and it will be 5 stars. Hm, also kills battery. Uninstall.
Doesn't work for me (HTC Desire) unless I keep app in foreground and active. Does not give reminder, and clicking icon starts new instance of app.
More customization + add notification while app is running + add custom sound + skip, postpone break... see workrave
1. customize notification ring tone 2. auto start up at phone start up
Doesn't actually give me reminders when I switch it to the background, thus rendering it useless for me.
The idea is great, but the app should continue working on the background, instead of reseting when you multi-task.

It works. However I wish you could set the time intervals yourself.
