It works, but I find it counterintuitive and lacking in features & usability e.g. you can't switch Kinos input source so even when it manages to play on the DS, it's trying to control the CD player, so there's no playback or volume control. What's the point if I need the remote anyway? I'm using Bubble DS now. I'd prefer Kinsky, but it's not been updated for Android Nougat, so the controls don't display properly :(

R70%
by R####:

Linn software is weak compared to the quality of its hardware. It is hard to search for music and easy to accidentally overwrite current choice of music rather than queue next or later song.

The Linn apps just don't cut it. Bubble DS is clumsy at some things, but the best overall app for Linn DS. What Kinsky can do, which this so can't, is to simply change the channel selection on the amplifier, e.g. from watching TV to listening to music, to airplay, etc the user interface design of this app is like nothing I've seen before and is therefore a complete mystery. So hard to understand.

This is more polished than Kinsky but there's a problem: when I send a movie on my TV, the TV plays the movie's audio only. This doesn't happen with Kinsky (the movie is played normally). Maybe this has to do with the transmitted mime type? Please add an option to make it work like Kinsky on this matter (which has graphical problems on my LG G4). I know Linn is mainly about audio but please don't discard useful functionality.

Love the information on artists and composers (once you find it!!! ) and that I works with open home, as well!

Great app. Works fine and it's free

Excellent free app. Without this Tidal just wouldn't fly in our house. The Kazoo interface makes streaming to the hifi fast and easy. The only thing I'd like to see is the ability to look at the current playlist if you've exited and re-entered the app. I can navigate the current playlist after restarting the app with prev / next track but I can't work out how to see the entire playlist as a list.

Works quite well, takes a little while to get your head around the interface and some feedback can be misleading (when waiting for a room to respond that no longer exists on the network). Otherwise smooth and some nice features.

It looks slick but it's missing many basic functions. For instance, when looking at the now playing view I want to be able to click the artists name to go to that artist. Or click the album name to view its tracklist. Or click the track name to view track info. Also, on Mac version things are too many clicks away; like moving/deleting a track in a playlist requires clicking the edit icon. Seriously? Not intuitive at all, but hey, it does look really really good. So that's something, I guess!

Great hardware. They just don't seem to understand software. This app just doesn't work. Crap

The look is good. It needs more features like "play all from here", "queue all from here","play next", etc. Good start though.
