JADS HTTP & HTTPS Proxy for Android
Was a long time user of Proxoid since I needed a tether app that wouldn't mess with the computers network adapters since I use this at work. Proxoid was OK but it required re-starting a lot, speed was slow, and you couldn't upload at all. Also certain JavaScript didn't work (like "save for later" in the Amazon cart). JADS HTTP & HTTPS Proxy does all the above and more. I can use it for 8 hours straight without re-loading it. It is solid and stable even when downloading large files over an extended period of time. It is reliable to do large uploads also. This app is worth much more than $3 to me. I hope this review helps you sell many more copies. EDIT: one small thing would be great and that would be a taskbar icon. When the app loses focus there is nothing that shows it is still running as a service.
after some troubleshooting in installing Android SDK, having problem when using eclipse ADT plugin at the same time, configuring chromium to use custom proxy server, now i am able to access internet via JADS and internal network via proxy at the same time.
Works great! I needed a proxy server at work, simply using wifi tether wasn't adequate since I had a multi network connection setup and needed Firefox to use only the phone. There are other free proxies in market but this one supports https where the others don't. The app states adb forwarding is required, but with cm7 ROM on HTC evo, I was able to turn on wifi tether and still access the proxy via IP.
This proxy works flawlessly. I did have a few issues because my provider blocks trafic with user agent. changed user agent in browser (to report android device) and all is perfect. I emailed support and got a qwick response. Well worth the money
The only non root solution that works flawlessly.
Very much better than Proxoid. Set localhost 8080 for all protocols, works perfectly. Multi pages, HTTP and https at same time.
Works very well.
Perfect

I tried Proxoid, but it proved to be too unstable. After a quick search for alternatives, I arrived at the JADS Proxy app. This app does what it says it will do. The setup can be a bit dicey, but once set up it works nicely.
