Doesn't delete anything

I used to use this app ALL OF THE TIME. It doesn't work on the HTC One, which is a real downer.

Paid for this app and developer clearly has no desire to keep up with new versions of Android. App doesn't work anymore.

I paid to get the added features. It doesn't work on my S5. It crashes all the time. I've reported this for months. No repairs or responses from developer.

UPDATE: I got it working again. Android 4.4.x (KitKat) changed hidden permissions for messaging apps, default setting for "WRITE/DELETE" is OFF, so apps like this one need user to manually set it to ON. Get "App Ops Starter" app from Play Store to do so. JADS Ltd, you need to update this app to set the new permission properly, mate. Chop chop buddy, we gave you money! UPDATE 17 APR 2015: Still no update despite me writing above in Dec 14. Just fix the installer JADS and get to keep selling this you fool!

I was looking for an app that could delete every text past a certain # of texts on each conversation and this app keeps crashing every time I start the deletion please fix

Does not auto delete on my droid incredible or galaxy s captivate as the program says its supposed to. Not a bad program for manual deletion tho.

I loved this app and it's saved me countless times when I've needed to delete a large amount of texts. As soon as I got the newest Android kit kat update, it is no longer working. The status bar shows like it is working, but it finishes in about 15 seconds, saying 7000 or so messages have been deleted. They are still there when I go back into my messaging app! Please help! I don't want to search for another deleting app...

Seemed to work perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy S.

Auto cleanup isn't working!! I always have to do it manually.

This used to be the only cleanup app I used, then it stopped working at all after I got a Galaxy S5. Counts properly and acts like it deletes. I tell it 'Thanks!' and go check & all N0,000 messages are still there -_-; Please update your app!

I bought this specifically for the option to prune threads to a specific number of texts. That being said, on my Thunderbolt it runs MUCH slower than the free version of SMS Cleaner. Not enough to keep me from using it, but if I had to delete, say, >5000 messages, I'd definitely use SMS Cleaner as it's just faster.

Great app, however lost a star because of how long it can take to delete message (may have been more to do with my 25k + texts than the app though!)

I have uninstalled for the time being. After the last update it keeps auto deleting my messages even though I don't have that feature selected.

Crashed on every attempt

..had unintentionally hoarded over 3k msgs & my phone was craaaawling; I couldnt even delete them! This app did the job. A+++ Thanks! (wildfire)

Doesn't delete messages in the deleted messages folder which is where all my old messages are located. Have to delete manually one by one. Rediculous!

Was the ONLY app that could delete thousands of messages on my Hero. Was about to do a factory reset of my phone before i found this app. A MUST HAVE!

This app was a lifesaver! Deleting texts automatically keeps my phone speedy. Just wish there were more options.

I had over 5000 messages on my EVO shift. My phone became unresponsive and was unable to even send txt messages. In this day and age, we all know this isn't acceptable. So i tried the freebie but it wasnt enough. Paid the 3 dollars and ran the cleanup to erase about 70% of what I had. It took about 45 minutes to finish but once done. my phone started working normally again. Totally worth the 3.00 purchae

I had the free version and it was great so I got the 3.49 version and it says its deleting but doesnt do anything

Works!!!! Kinda slow on the EVO, but I also have tons of txts I'm deleting...totally worth the 3 bucks if u need a lot messages deleted...

I used the free version and it worked well so I paid the $3 for this version to get the automatic message cleanup feature. But this feature will not work automatically. I still have to manually do it like the free version. Save your $3 and just use the free version.

My phone was dragging something aweful and my texts were taking forever to send. I bought this app and cleared out my texts, now everything works better. The only complaint is the slowness of the app and u can't leave it running in the background while u do something else.
