JPC x86 (DOS) for Android
This is a port of JPC for Android. JPC is a pure Java emulation of an x86 PC hardware in software.
Bundled in this release is FreeDOS (Like MS-DOS) and a selection of shareware games on a virtual drive C:/
This emulator is extremely demanding and will only run on modern devices. Keyboard and mouse input is very basic and is still in development.
This is intended for demonstration use only, although the bundled games run, they are not playable.
JPC is open source software and available here:

It runs so fast!! Only because i have 1gb ram. And a 300mhz snapdragon processor. Keep up the emulators y'all!
Unfortunately the app crashes before i can try the app
I like how this simulates a commands from DOS. The problem with me though, the keyboard gets in the way of the screen. The keyboard button, I have to press it multiple times to get the keyboard up.
Needs the option to attach iso and floppy images, as well as a way to press F12 to select the boot device. Scaling support would be nice, too. I wouldn't mind building my own copy of this thing. Did you publish your changes to a repository?
I use a Samsung Galaxy Note 3. DOS emulation shows up in tiny area in the upper left corner. Still giving a high rating because it is just shoot promising.
This stupid app is just a trick, you can't do anything,DO NOT DOWNLOAD
I am using a new HTC phone. The app runs fine, but is confined to the top left corner of the screen and zoom does not appear to work. It's a brilliant idea and good implementation. Fix the screen and I'll give 5 stars.
I have it on my galaxy tab 2 and it works like a charm but on my galaxy y duos its stuck at the thing where listing the specks of freedos during the boot help me
I program in MS-DOS a lot. I think that this is in good standing, but it cannot access any MS-DOS enviroments, and doesn't have any commands correct. I think this has great potential as an emulator, it just needs the previous tweaks and the ability to launch batch files.
Doesn't start... Whenever I run the app.. it displays a message saying that its not responding and offers option to force close ..
It took around 5-10 minutes just to initialize everything.
It crushes..well I just want to play classic games..but it doesnt work on my mobile..
ZTE fury, not working. 3 stars fire the hard work.
It crashes on startup with my Motorola photon. Dissapointing
it is nice to have an ms dos prompt like C:/ and A:/. i still have all my old ms dos files as a folder on my pc and now tablet. it would be nice to access this folder but so far have been unsuccessful. like Z:/ maybe?
It takes long for it to load on old phones but it is great
Cursor at prompt only ever blinked twice, then it hung.... I played with some more and found that it does work with certain keyboards and not others.
Great app, Intel Pentium II on 95/98 HTC 1 SV
It works well but why the hell is it so small for my screen, like it covers less than 1/4th of the screen, I cant scroll up and miss some of the lines. If theres a fix to this id like to know and I will increase the rating for this app.
Love to make dos crashing videos
I love the idea. I tried it myself, but every time I press my keyboard it bugs and goes back down. Fix the bug and I will rate JPC 5 stars.
This could work well, but without a PC keyboard, there's no way to use the CTRL, ALT, or F keys. Also the mouse integration is a bonus, but clicking doesn't seem to work (at least not in DOS Edit).
How to start the box to write a c++ program. I would give it 5 star once answered.
Doesn't open on my HTC Evo 4G. Says I should try again. It sucks.
Love to make dos crashing videos
Works OK, but it's impossible to use properly when the screen is only ¼ size of your device. If this was improved, I would definitely give a higher score
Just froze up and wouldn't do anything.

It seems to work, I can get from the A to the C prompts and even do a "dir", but my Galaxy Tab -3 covers the command line when it's present. Coud this be fixed?
Make this work for real by allowing me to open files on my phone.
no issue so far
Amazing I love having stuff like this it's so much fun especially for a cell phone lol. Gonna see if I can get an operating system to work with it... spectrum 2 cell phone will let it be known if it works. Lol
aDOSBOX is getting really dated.
How to use ???

But it couldn't run what I wanted. :-(
I have used dos for many years and love that you have made it workable on android! Thanks and I hope to see improvements!
Just froze up and wouldn't do anything.

JPC is under the GPL2, but I can't find the sources for this port. Where are they?
