About York Walls Tour

Each of the 26 stopping points feature photos as well as an audio track telling the story of that area and the city as a whole.

The tour takes 3-4 hours to complete on foot, the walls are safe to walk on however please make sure you wear appropriate footwear. The walls are not suitable for wheelchair users. The walls are closed every evening at dusk, although you can still walk nearby to complete the tour if you so wish
