The Independent Liverpool App that brings you the best independent's in our great city. Find out where and when the Independent Liverpool card discounts occur, with map locations and descriptions of all the offers available. Also find profiles of all the unique and fabulous independent's Liverpool has to offer. There are rumours around Liverpool that your wallet is incomplete without #TheCard, there are now similar rumours about phones which don't have the Independent Liverpool App!
At just £10 for a whole year this card will save you money all year round in over 40 independent shops, bars, restaurants and cafés. Saving you money on clothes, food, books, homeware and much more. We are also always adding new independent's to the card making it even easier for you to support your local economy!
You see the big corporations everywhere you go, to the detriment of smaller, independent shops which are closing down by the minute. At this rate we envisage a dystopian High Street buffet whose selection consists only of Fat Cat, tax dodging, multi-national corporations and we find that hard to swallow.
But please do not get the wrong idea. We are not here to moan or to be cynical; that would be tiring and we would eventually run out of things to say. Rather, our aim at Independent Liverpool is to purely shed light on independent shops in Liverpool and to celebrate the unique.
We will do this by uploading profiles of shops that inspire and intrigue us. We also do it by helping to achieve a shift in consciousness when purchasing anything, the Independent Liverpool card & app makes this easier and saves you, the customer, money at the same time! We hope you have the same vision as we do.

You need to update this app, its glitchy beyond use. And the little you can use all the information is way out of date. Manzo has shut down! Tapas tapas has shut down! Rookwood doesnt do 20% only 10% I was really impressed with this at the start, a brilliant idea for a business but you just cant be bothered can you?

Love the concept and the company, but this app is useless and I can't use it :( please make some improvements. It crashes, I cant read it, blank screen and the map won't work.

I love being able to find new and exciting places in the city, but like some other users every time I press the back button I get a blank screen and have to restart the app.

But the map is hard to use and a part of it freezes. Never heard of using two fingers to scroll a map.

I want to like this app but when you click on profiles, then go into one of the profiles if you press back to go back to the profiles list the screen goes white & the app freezes. Press back again & it exits the app! Very frustrating!

I find it very frustrating that Independent Liverpool have got a hold on all aspects of their social media and yet almost neglect there app. I hope that they they take note of these reviews and bring this potentially excellent app up to the standard we're all used to.

I was excited to download this but it soon shoes that my excitement was in vain. Back button often leads to a blank page and hangs. The map lags and only a proportion of the screen works. Please fix it!

Previous version was just a collection of places, with no clear way to sort by distance. This update sounded good with ability to find participating venues nearby. However update had broken the app. It loads, then freezes, then goes blank. So now I can't even use the app. Please fix.

The app constantly freezes and crashes when scrolling profiles, rendering it unusable. Which is a shame as I like to see starts what's up and coming on the Liverpool independent front.
