Roofing calculator is the ultimate tool for carpenters involved in making timber roofing structures.
Simply enter the pitch and run to instantly get information including:
- The rise of the common rafter per metre (or foot) of run.
- The length of the common rafter.
- The length of the hip.
- Bevel angles including the seat and ridge for the rafter and hip/valley.

It's a great app. Soffits like mentioned elsewhere would be good. Also perhaps a more complex roofs options version that would be paid for and without adds. Best luck with this. It's really clean and simple. super tool in a pocket :) Also an option to store last few calculations would be great. And if the app remembered last input and calculated numbers, rather than revert back to basic settings after it is reloaded....

The best tools in my opinion are those which do one job, and do it well. This is a brilliant example. Pop the known numbers in the boxes, and you get the unknowns spewed out to you. Couldn't ask for more!
