It's not poor, but is rather primitive and has no sounds. Scrolling through is strictly alphabetical. TYPING a word, say swift, will give you a menu of swifts. Also clicking te funnel icon swifts or trogons will give the whole family.This will complement my paper book that has the taxonomic index. That has illustrations, this has photos. Its worth the $4.99. Put it on a phone or tablet. I was forced to use the curved arrow on Samsung tablet to navigate screens.Also, the photos are NOT on your device until you scroll thru the A to Z list slowly! Turn device to airplane to see that they are still there. Connect to Internet each month to keep license active.
