Compare Prices Currys PC World

It only shows stores that are same or higher. I found what I wanted on amazon for £20 cheaper. And it wasn't a reseller. Its been that price for a looking time. But it didn't show it. I guess they will reply to this with some lame excuse. But, in summary, do not rely on this app. Edit: I did it with lots of items. You need to get some better programmers.... Edit2: still no reply? Looking for an Apple 13" Mac book pro with retina display (2015) £1099.00 on Curry's website. £999.00 on Argos. The app only showed retailers that are charging more than Curry's. Uninstalling and continuing to do my own search

Have been looking to buy a Samsung UE65KS9000 for a month or two your price of £2150 is very poor have found at least 3 companies selling it £200 less with the same warranty than currys so I will not be buying it from here

Currys/PC World do a deal with manufacturers to add a letter after the model number or letter making it unique to them although it is exactly the same as what you'd buy elsewhere. Then off course you can't compare prices. The fact they feel they need to do this shows how competitive their prices are. This app may well cost you mega bucks.

Searching for PS4 Pro and this app says it's checks Tesco, but it failed to find the current cheaper offer. It however "price matched" Argos. Use Google. Reliable.

There's no feature for filtering, sorting or anything. Basics. Seems pretty useless. Only one positive: the app is small in size.

All products, services, and customer experience is much cheaper, easier, and faster on Amazon.

So I'm buying from Amazon because you told me they are cheaper by £15 but you won't match them. Useless.

Compared a product on amazon and the price on this app is massively different from what is shown on amazon.. It says last updated today and the price on amazon had been stable for about a week... So now will purchase from Amazon... Don't bother

Searched Nikon D5300 with 18-55 lens. Showed John Lewis which was same price but never showed Argos where it was in stock at both local stores and £20 cheaper with a VRII lens. If you come with same response that you will price match in store, what is the point of this app? Uninstalled...... Response...... What an absolute joke of a response from you. Everyone knows what it should do, we're telling you it doesn't. Months of comments saying the same thing and you have done nothing to sort it.

Just got home with a Panasonic microwave from Currys. It is not listed on this Currys app and surprise surprise it's £30 cheaper at John Lewis. Draw your own conclusions. Update: Model no. is panasonic nn-ct585sbpq and it is actually £40 cheaper at Tesco and AO. Although the app is still useless I went back to the Currys store and was refunded £40 with no hassle.

Curry's say that it has to be the same make and model held in stock by their competitors otherwise it won't work. Well on the Xbox one 1TB or 500GB (bundled or not) it continually displays that no competitor price is available even although the same item is available through Argos, tesco, Smyth's, toys r us and many more. I know they will price match in store but that isn't the point here, a console so widely available i am shocked, or not, that there isn't a competitor comparison, strange, isn't it? :-I

This is as of Nov '15, so future improvements are entirely possible. However after downloading I searched for about 7 different, readily available items, including COD Back Ops III, Nintendo 3ds, a printer and a TV and each one said 'no competitor info' If I am to rate this app on the job it's supposed to do, 1 star is generous I'm afraid as it doesn't fulfill it's sole purpose! (So far)

Terrible app. No features or filters. Seriously dissapointing for such a large electronic retailer.

Great idea but price runner or similar does a better job across far more retailers so this app is pointless. It doesn't even recognise it's own stock items anyway!

All it keeps saying is no competitor prices and that's on xbox one and xbox games so product would be exactly the same in all stores

Said no comparison was possible even though a quick check using a web browser showed they same item in Stock at both currys and Argos.

Everytime it says connection error, i have tried endless popular products and each time it loads then says connection error, currys just lost a customer because they cant pricematch the imac with Amazon.

I have found it cheaper on amazon but does not allow you to compare the price so not a true comparason

Tried on multiple products in a 30 min time frame... 50% worked... 30% however said no competitor prices.. i tried office software to printers

For some reason it won't get the prices from competitors on some items but seems to work with items which are cheaper at pcworld/currys. The first item I tried was GTA V on PC, £39.99 at pcworld but £34.99 at Argos however the app couldn't find the price and yet I'm looking at both websites right now on desktop and can clearly see it's cheaper from Argos. I'll still go to my local pcworld and get them to price match in store, assuming the customer service rep I get isn't lazy.

Used this app instore to check the price on a Jawbone Up24 (£89.99). Asked if the store pricematched against the app results and was told yes. Showed them the price the app showed - £49.99, availible for immediate collection, and was then told that they wouldn't pricematch. Might as well just use Google shopping or a decent price comparrison site and at least get a useful answer.

According to there terms and conditions and I quote 1. We'll match our competitors store pr website UK price. To me that means if a store has a website with a uk price for the same product they are a competitor. This is not the case apparently qhen yoi find a price that is £80 cheaper. They won't honour there terms and conditions. The model was the same and the other companies terms where the same. What is the point in having and app for a promise they decide to honor or not.

Just checked 2 identical spec LG Smart Tvs. In stock and cheaper on Amazon but not found by search, only Curry's dearer offering.

Scan and go or use the currys product scu's to compare prices else ware.

Used to search for a Lenovo Yoga 2. Could not find any price matches ...... except more expensive ones but it ignored John Lewis who are currently £150 cheaper for the same model..... . This App is as crooked and bent as the company it is promoting. I think the positive reviews are from employees.....
