TabCloud for Android
This app allows you to access the list of tabs you have saved using the Chrome extension, from your phone.
This crap needs to be removed from the playstore. It is not intended for Android or mobile devices. After installing it I tried to open it on my Android phone and the message I got was: "No saved tabs, do you have the Chrome extension?" When I try to select the Chrome extension it says not avaliable for Android. What an epic FAIL!
Finally! I can save a group of tabs between desktop Chrome and my tablet! 5 stars if I could open all the saved tabs for a particular session at once instead of having to touch multiple links; also the ability to save multiple tabs.
Error: Bad Request Your client has issued a malformed or illegal request.
I installed it and logged in, but it refused to sync any of my tabs.
This is a LIFESAVER (built-in session save breaks)! Works great paired with the desktop version. DEFINITELY worth a donation. Hope to eventually enjoy saving phone sessions also. Yae!
This isn't an app, it's just a glorified bookmark. Upon launch of this so called app it just launches your browser and nativgates you to their website. Don't installing it, just bookmark the website yourself in your browser. Apps are meant to be standalones. Not installed bookmarks to your hard drive. - grumbles-
Does nothing.
I will definitely get this app again to check out if it's fixed. The desktop version is such a useful tool!
Tabcloud doesnt work on google chrome on my phone. Only shows tabs on the regular android browser.
Works great on chrome desktop... Fails to load links on mobile (nexus 7 & MotoX)
It just plum doesn't. I'm a heavy user of TabCloud on the desktop, so when I signed into the app, I expected that I was going to be greeted with my saved tabs. Instead, boring up the app now causes a page to open in Chrome, saving "Thanks for logging in!". That's it--that's all that happens. Trying to go into the app again just causes the same thing to happen.
Installed, only shows a screen with the logo and log out button.
Caused my phone to shut off several times before I uninstalled-original droid
Needs to work from the phone as well.
Love it on pc and laptop, but no good on tablets
Isn't working, simple as that.
Very helpful!
Got it
which shows nothing after login successfully
Lame. Weblink.
Sync between multiple pc browsers is great, although an auto snapshot/save option is definitely required! Initially I found the tabs wouldn't appear in Chrome or Firefox on my Nexus 7, I managed to get the tabs to display in FF by clicking top left next to URL & removing "protection ", no luck with Chrome tho, maybe someone will work it out!? Dev also needs to include a help section for issues like this.
As others have mentioned (for 10 months or more), the Android app is evidently not working.
This sucks because my laptop just crashed. I had soo many tabs in different lists and categories. Why isn't other working???
It doesn't work on my s5, when I lunch the app I just see a page with "welcome", but no tabs
Use the Chrome extension: great tool. However, the app is a different story: does not work. Just opens a tab with the TabCloud logo and the option to logout...Fix it, please. :)
Just a blank page where the tabs should be.
Doesn't work in Android Chrome even though it's advertised for it.
Unfortunately since coming back to TabCloud, something has happened which stops it working on Chrome for Android - just shows a welcome screen saying that you have logged in and nothing else
It works and does everything they said it does; but it would be nice if this worked like desktop versions or offer a way to add to your tabcloud. Overall It's great I just wish this project would get more focus as I really want to fully integrate it in my cross platform workflow. I 'd even be willing to folk over a $ or two to help out if there was a donate version.
I have a laptop and PC both with Chrome on which this works fine. I have a Nexus 7 & Galaxy S3 both with Chrome and both of which just give me a logo and a welcome message but nothing else when I open Tabcloud on them. I then have an old Galaxy W that will not load Chrome but on which Tabcloud opens perfectly with a list of tabs! The idea of this app is great please sort it out so it works everywhere rather than just pretending that it works everywhere.
Lately, everytime I try to use it I get an "error server 500" and it won't even load anything at all I'm stuck on a page with just the logo and an option to log out. I would have rated this 5 stars but considering the latest update it gets 1 star because it no longer works. If you can fix this problem quickly I will give back 4 more stars. This is an invaluable tool, I hope it's fixed quickly.
This is awesome! Love the chrome extension and this is a great complement to access my saved tabs on my android devices. Sure it could always use more features, but this is from an indie developer and they are doing a fine job considering its free people!!!
Tabcloud doesnt work on google chrome on my phone. Only shows tabs on the regular android browser.
I had to install opera mini to use it but works and easy to see and use the tabs I've saved. It'd be great if it actually works with chrome though.
Use the desktop Chrome extension daily so it's nice to see this available on Android but with the latest version it doesn't seem to show my saved tabs hence the one star.
I was ready to give this one star, because I tried to open in Chrome. I got a blank page, with a logo, and logout link, in Chrome. Fortunately, I tried the standard Android browser, too. Works a charm, just not in Chrome. Kinda ironic.
Wish it was an app and not just something that opens in your browser. Even nicer if you could save pages on the phone.
So far it works great! Links all my devices to my tabs!
But doesn't work at all on my S4. (apparently works with Opera mini, but still) 5* super useful app that doesn't work yet..
