Costa Coffee Club for Android
This app was brilliant till recently. Had trouble with it updating points, spoke with someone from customer services who said there was a few issues and to uninstall and reinstall. I did now I can't log on to it and all they say is they are aware of fault and to keep trying. I'm fed up of trying to log in. This has been going on for weeks now.
With the newest update, my costa app no longer works! Cannot log in at all. Really annoying as I have quite a few points saved up too, please can this be fixed soon! Or can I get a card sent through or something?
It would OK if every time Costa update the App we r not all thrown out of the App and have 2 keep trying 2 log back in with little or no joy. Really ? Other Apps seem 2 update without having keep logging back in. Tedious 2 say the least. #Sad™
My card is no longer recognised on my Account, try to contact Costa via the link on the App download page and it takes you to a page and says this page dosnt exist. Tried logging into my account via a PC and it says I do not have a card registered, try registering my card it tells me it's registered. Can't log into the App, password works on PC but not on the App, a really hopeless experience, come on chaps pull your fingers out and fix it !
Reinstalled in November. New card etc. Points gone but app seemed to work. First time came to reuse... same old tut. Reset password?? Give me a break. Original rant frim July::: I have no idea how many times I followed the instructions to reset password... none worked. Rarely did it advise what was going on. Cheap. Not cheerful. Plastic card anyone? Is this a ploy to stop free coffees ?
Stopped working. Can't get it to recognise my password or card number. Tried resetting my password that doesn't work either. Tried to set up a new account, won't let me because it say the email address is already in use. Good news is the new cafe Nero app is working just fine thank you very much.....guess where I'm going for my coffee........
Absolutely crap!! Don't waste your time downloading it.. REPEATEDLY logs you out then won't let you log in, doesn't add points and even deducted the points it said I'd won. It seems to let you save up so many points then crashes on you and doesn't acknowledge email address needed to log in. I HATE IT with a passion, bloody useless!
**FIXED WITH WHAT LOOKS LIKE A SOFTWARE UPDATE! Thanks folks!** Guys! This app was brilliant! Used it this morning at my local branch (where the team were amazing as always) but went to check my points and I'd been logged out! Now apparently I don't exist on your system meaning £5 of points has evaporated like over frothed milk. Not cool :-(
After factory resetting my phone I can no longer log into the app. Unable to authenticate: Invalid response from server (845). No response from complaint raised. However I can login on my pc.
Completely useless!!! Doens't let me login and password reset also doesn't work. No way of getting the app to work as it should (glad I still have my trusted old plastic card to collect the points)
Useless. I have lost track of the number of times I have reinstalled the app or changed my password, and still it never works. Developers please look at the Caffè Nero app to see it done right. Given they are across the street from Costa where I live, this is losing you business.
Everytime i try to log in it doesnt recognise me so i have to reset my password. The new password sent then either doesnt work or does but then i get forced out when i try to change the password, after which the temporary one no longer works! Basically unusable!
This app is great for convenience while in costa but every time i need an update i get locked out of my log in, like right now! I'm locked out off the app but there is no update available yet. Can be very frustrating.
This used to be a great app until the latest update. Logged me out and won't let me log in again. Tried resetting my password and the app constantly glitches and goes back to the start screen. I can no longer collect points as a result. Sort it out Costa!
Every time the app is updated, you have to login again, which is annoying, really @@@@ annoying when you're in the queue and can't remember your password! It surely can't be difficult for the update process to remember login details, many other apps manage it.
Used to love it. Now can't even access it. I have £20 of points I now can't get to. Have emailed for help, no reply. Uninstalled, reinstalled on 3 different phones to see if it was a phone issue, no! simply can't use it anywhere So frustrated. Not happy.
Cannot login, cannot reset password either and there's very little on the website that could provide help. This has occurred since the newest update cane out, prior to this the app was really easy to use!
App used to work really well. Since the update I am no longer logged in or even able to log in. No matter how many password reset requests I make I am still unable to log in. This has been the case for 4 weeks. The app is now useless to me. Also sent an email looking for an answer with no response. Not cool Costa, not cool at all!
Good functional app. Only minor gripe is I sort of liked the 'what's new' info. It used to tease me away from my regular drink. The app looks good, is easy to use and does what it's supposed to do.
I can log into the Costa website but can't log into the app. A basic requirement I would have thought. Shame I have to give I one star. No stars would be more appropriate
Been thrown out of this app. Won't let me connect again. Made two attempt to complain on official form. No response from Costa. Unstalling the app and seriously considering Starbucks. Lost all previous points.
Rubbish App. Can't log in - no longer have a card so missing out on points every time I use it. No reply from customer service. Get a grip Costa - have a look at how slick the Starbucks app is!!
Never able to log in. Not worth having the app. This issue has been going on for some months now. If Costa aren't going to fix issues like this they should remove the app from the play store
Only adds points, doesn't take them off when you spend them so the balance is never correct. Only use my card now, no point using the app, not fit for purpose.
Whole thing is generally pants. Keeps saying password is wrong. When I get promotional emails I download images as required buy a drink but NEVER get the promised 100 extra points and emails say I have X no. of points then next time I look it has gone down not up. Costa app and promotions a waste of time.
Despite reviews downloaded App. Couldn't register (code 44 error). Told me I already exist so thought, Ok maybe registered online ages ago. Did a password reset and takes me on a loop and doesn't accept password. Tried creating new account under another email and get registration error. Even the contact us page is useless and no Registration error FAQ and no mail address to contact. Starbucks anyone?
Have not been able to access my account for months now. Saying my password is wrong so got a new one followed instructions still winter me on. Use to be really good. What's happened.
Complete waste of time. The app thinks I'm in Gatwick all the time instead of the North of England. Needs sorting out. Like anything Costa it's SLOW!
I've not really had too many problems with this app. It works most times in store, and tells me what I've earnt
Used to work. Has stopped and not registered points from last two visits. Requested a new password, still doesn't log in. Time to give up on Costa and go back to Caffè Nero.

Costa Coffee must be the worst organisation for IT bugs and downtime. Problems last weeks other than hours. Sort your IT out or go and outsource your service. Quickly.
App won't update/ register existing account despite uninstall/install several times. Lost opportunity for points because of this. What's gone on?
Recent update has killed the App Used to work like a dream, but the recent update has logged me out and won't let me log on. Annoying as I can't collect points when I visit (at least twice a week) so not getting the benefits of loyalty ..... Maybe I should go to Starbucks!
Regular visitor and started to use app. Even when asking when to scan, it beeps, lights are green but does not register afterwards. It has worked once in 5 visits. Coffee still good though!
Since they fixed the recent fault in the shops where points couldn't be awarded or used, my email and password were invalidated and all the points on my card were lost. Got a new card today and am having to start all over again. I'm unemployed and saved my points as a treat when I'm low on cash, so absolutely gutted at losing what I'd carefully saved up.
Won't let me log in any more. Keeps displaying a "general error". When I reset my password, neither the new one nor the old one work. Also, WHY is it 32mb in size?? Put your card number in android pay. Works just as well.
Love the app. Nice and simple. Does everything it should. I scan, points get saved. Open app, use app to buy coffee. Ta da! Oh, just hard reset phone and had to reinstall app. Forgot my password so clicked the link on the app, email arrived in seconds. Copied password. App working perfectly. Coffee tomorrow then. Oh, did I forget to mention, I'm a costa a day customer (as to is the the wife)... Your coffee is by far the best... thank u.

The app generally works but points don't always get added up. This is despite the scanner on the till giving a distinct confirmation tone and staff confirming they have been added. App has not crashed on me and seems to work flawlessly otherwise. Would be good if you could add a method in the app to load a receipt so missing points can be added later on without having to rely on the system working at the till.
