About Force Dock Rotation
A simple app that forces your device into natural rotation when it is placed in a desk dock, a car dock, or (optionally) plugged into a regular charger. This saves you needing to rotate your head for pesky apps that insist on being in the wrong orientation for your dock!
Just launch the app once after installing to set it up and then never worry about it again. When you put the device in a dock the rotation is forced to the correct orientation for your dock and when you take it back out it reverts to your previous settings. No fuss, no hassle.
I've tested this on my Nexus 7 in the official Nexus 7 dock and I've also had reports it works with the Galaxy Nexus as well. Note that some third party docks or wireless chargers aren't recognised by Android as docks, but you can still use the app with them by enabling forced rotation when charging from the settings menu. Perfect! it even survives a reboot, ideal for those phones with no natural support for rotation when charging, no ads as far as I can tell, I'd pay for this, but it seems to be free. Great work!

It does rotate the screen on my Xperia Z3, but leaves out two slices of the screen at the top and bottom.

It even landscapes the lockscreen. Fantastic.It would be good if there is an option to remove the icon from app drawer.

Well, it does work on my Note 4. Unfortunately, this app has the same exact problem as all the other rotational apps... in that it cuts off an entire row of apps (left side of my screen). The only rotational app that I know of that does NOT do that is a module from Xposed, which only works on rooted phones. Since my current phone is unrooted, I have to make due with this app... which is OK because this particular app works GREAT for what I need it for: Forcing Touchwiz to rotate when the charger is plugged in so that Dashclock is displayed properly in landscape mode.

Well done Chris! From installing this app I was compelled to write my first review... Many thanks.... Finally I've found this app which is exactly what I want when docked in the Car. Its not clear from the App description, but this app also forces the Lock and Home screens to Landscape automatically (connecting USB power) - So I don't crash the car trying to read sideways! So far it working fine on my Xperia M2. With "Llama" automatically enabling Bluetooth, setting 100% brightness and switching off the lock timeout - my M2 now links to my Car Head unit perfectly! Once again ... Thanks :-)

As soon as I installed the app my Bluetooth turned on automatically. I dont know if thats a bug or if its supposed to turn on to detect wireless chargers. Please clarify. Also it would be nice if there was an option to not dim the screen while docked so that I can see my lock screen wallpaper. Other than that this is the best app out there for auto rotating while docking. Highly recommend this :-)

Just open it once and it will always work automatically when you plug into the dock. I was using it to force Spotify to display in landscape while docked, but now that Spotify updated it's app to work in landscape mode, I no longer need it - works great regardless!

I tried 10 other apps to accomplish what this one does. After market desktop mount for my note 3 that holds it in landscape. ...but has no triggering for desk mode. The power setting on this app allows this to happen flawlessly. Awesome.

Are good! Seems to work perfectly for the Sony Xperia Z in the Sony dock. The background does seem to be zoomed a bit oddly though.

I don't have an official dock for my phone but the 5" screen means putting it in my car holder means sideways is better. But the Home screen and others didn't like it. Now my big phone is perfect! Thanks

This app does the trick and rotation is enabled in the app when charging. All the other apps that were similar are paid for. This solution is perfect, thank you

This works well on Xperia Z1 compact with magnetic charging dock, say goodbye to stupid vertical unlock screen. Highly recommend.

I built my own dock out of cheapo dock kits and the official charger, this app completes the dock experience by giving me landscape mode, even though it's not an official dock... Wonderful app!

So today I went to switch to an RCA 28" 1080i @ 60Hz HDTV & voila my problem was solved. :) My device : Samsung Galaxy Note II - SGH-T889 (t0ltetmo) My Dock : Samsung Smart Dock w/ 3 USB ports, HDMI port & 3.5mm stereo audio output jack
