Out & About provides listings of camping meets and temporary holiday sites run by members of the Camping and Caravanning Club which are ideal for short or long stays and often in or close to scenic locations.
In this app, you’ll find information on low-cost camping destinations across the UK, exclusively for members. Our events are classified as either Club Meets or Temporary Holiday Sites; the app also highlights our Featured Events, as featured in the Camping & Caravanning magazine.
Please note that the app is only accessible to members of the Camping and Caravanning Club and you will require your website login details in order to unlock the app. Please could all members also note that membership cards, including your partner’s card, must be shown to the Steward on Temporary Holiday Sites and Meets.

Biggest problem with this app is the addresses have no postcodes. When touring most people use a postcode in a satnav for directions. I appreciate that the app links to Google maps and provides sat navigation via that but now everyone likes or uses Google directions. Otherwise I lied this but no 5 stars until postcodes are there.

Will not work with end dates. Searching by region excludes some events. Could be great with these fixes

Inputting any location in any format always results in 0 events. Remove location and then 1900 events come up. But these will not display on the map as there are too many. Therefore this app is very disappointing. Please try harder next time.

This appl only shows a map reference. No Post Code or GPS info is given. You also have to scroll through old events from previous months.

Information is out of date. Meets are missing from map search and cancelled meets show as current. This app needs to have the map fixed and pull the data from exempted database live and at minimum update the app weekly. Developer you should have my contact details from site seeker tests. Please contact me.

Good idea but contact only gives name no phone number so how are we going to contact stewards to check vacancies.

Worked well for me. Needs two improvements, cancellations since last magazine to be incorporated. What does featured mean? Is a featured event or temp hol site different from a normal one? Loved the fact that you could see the results in date sequence

Rejects my username and password saying they do not match. Just used my PC to login and it works fine. The app does not work.

Unable to login using the android version but if I use the ipad I can login ok, also there are lots of meets that are missing and one's that have been cancelled. Sort it out please as DA camping is on the decline
