Where's the bus? - FREE gives information about buses that will soon be arriving at bus stops near you and allows you a set a reminder for a particular bus number.
Where's the bus? - FREE adds the ability to set a reminder to standard TFL Countdown features such as finding a stop near you, viewing your favourite and recent departure stops, live departure boards showing when the next bus will arrive, searching for stops by name, post code or route number - all wrapped up in a convenient FREE app.
UPDATE 27/12/2011: Added on screen buttons, such as to set a reminder.
Currently operates in London only.
To set a reminder - choose to add a reminder for a bus route from the options menu that appears when you press the menu button. The app will monitor/track the progress of your bus to the stop and notify you when the bus is about to arrive, including if you stop using the phone and lock the screen.
To cancel a reminder - choose "Cancel Reminder" from the options menu that appears when you press the menu button. Thanks to those who provided feedback requesting this feature.

The app gives lots of info about a bus route instead of simple tab with stop names & timing. Very comprehensive info though don't need when in rush or quick search should apply. I found it inconvenient due to too much info.

Very good information - seems to get information from TFL's live bus stop displays. If you live on bus routes you can check the buses! (Anorak!) and it does corelate. Serving suggestion for the developer: Many users will have several bus stops around their home location. Please consider a description panel for each bus stop on each page? The user can then see 'Chip shop stop', 'Builders Yard stop' etc. It's not easy reading the map and TFL's description (CS, CT,) etc is not helpful! Thanks Regards C

Not sure what one of the reviews means about paying - I've downloaded the free version and use this all the time. Brilliant knowing when the bus will arrive - dont have to wait in the cold! Reminders are pretty cool too - let you know if you can have that last drink when you are out or make a dash for the last bus! pretty easy to use - love it.
