Original: says i need to update the app to 1.87 but I just downloaded it. Edit: turns out you need to download the ndroid services to your computer and forward the port in your router. Now it just spins l loading screen thou. Edit 2: has been "Downloading files" for 3 days now. Can't find any forums or help online.

This app has poor design, there is NO WAY to stop/exit this app. Once you open it and tries to connect, you can't stop it unless you go to Settings, Apps, find it and force stop. It's too bad.

The setup is difficult but once co figured properly on your computer it works as described.

Easy way is to setup Emby on your htpc, add the NextPVR plugin assuming you have a TV card or tvusb added to your PC, then install Emby on your Android device. You can then watch live ota channels on Android. Plus Emby is a great media center.

Enter the server information and it pops up a box with a spinning circle. Notification a while later saying failed to download epg. Can't change server information or check. Only way to try again is to uninstall, even force closing it reopens to the spinning circle.

Stopped Working

Did exactly what I needed.

Maybe I'm easily pleased but I can't get over how good this is. I can now go anywhere and ask my computer to record TV and radio programmes while I'm out. So I can record any UK Freeview channels onto my PC by using my phone! And it's completely free!! Thank you very much and keep up the good work :)

For me, so far, The update has resolved a set of issues around the epg content getting scrambled. Streaming has worked ok, I am using VLC on Sony tablet s, and it has frozen 1 or 2 times but I am not too unhappy about that. UI is pretty bland but that is ok too. Have only tried over wifi. Giving it 3* because its a service in beta so honestly its still got a bit to go, not because it is a soso app. Great work developers, looking fwd to rating it 4 or 5. Happy to help testing/providing more feedback.

Hangs while trying to connect to server. Even when server is switched off, it still tries to scan and download TV guide; yet it doesn't exit. Previous version (1.8.2) server worked fine after some initial problems. Update: Version 1.8.6 still has same problems. Immediately uninstalled again and will not install till a year later. The hanging bug when searchng for the server is a major issue.

Great way to stream live tv from a man PC to android devices.

Beta or not this does everything it claims to do on the npvr wiki, and feature and support requests are quickly answered
