BBC+ The BBC, just for you.

Great app for accessing stories on BBC website but I keep having to scroll past the same stories again and again. Would be much better if I could swipe away the stories I have read or am not interested in, and they only come back if they get updated.

I'm afraid to say that after recently reinstalling this app it doesn't work anymore.

I installed this app as a replacement for the excellent BBC News app, which, for some reason crashes every time, on my old Galaxy tablet. I shouldn't have bothered. It is just one long uncontrollable stream of 'stories' that point you off to BBC websites. Ok you can specify your preferences but there are no tabs or filters or sorts to make the content manageable. I won't be using it.

Was a good app, but BBC toatialy ruined the app by removing the different tabs and just putting everything into one feed. Please just change it back again.

Latest update has lost tabs for different topics. Please put them back! I want to see all stories on a specific topic and switch between them, not have them all jumbled together.

Used to be good but then it got updated and now its rubbish. Why remove the tabs? It's supposed to be BBC Plus but is more BBC MINUS now. Uninstalled

Old design much better. Where are all the pages?

Don't like, feed seems random. Best just go to BBC news app.

This app is now totally pointless. It was pretty annoying before, with repeated news posts and never holding on to a link, but now it's less functional than the BBC News App itself, really. Links don't properly open and the interface is clumsy. It sure if the point of it, so removing now.

Awful since the update, used to be an actual app with my interests in different tabs. Now just gives a long list of everything and opening those just links you to a webpage. Why bin off the old app for a glorified browser??

Not good since latest update. It doesn't matter what your interests are anymore because the BBC now just feed you absolute rubbish and ridiculous gossip.

Removing the tabs renders it useless for me. I want to just dip in for a couple of minutes at a time throughout the day, rather than repeatedly work through a monolithic list of semi-interests. The list doesn't even group the content under headings. It really is quite a bizarre change to have made, especially without providing a switch for users to keep the old style until the new one matures.

Last update is just terrible. There was a choice what i want to skip going to the article types i just wanted to see at the time. Now it's all in one feed! So what scroll down for 5min to get to something I want to see? Lost interest in this once great app! Bring the 'tabs' back!

Sadly not as good as it was .. even though the updates were not very timely. Don't see the point of it now, all in one lump.

Liked it before the latest update. Totally counterproductive because now I've had to reduce the number of interests to a handful. Give us separate tabs again!

Now in a single stream. Awful change. Now you have to scroll through items you've seen in the morning to find if there are any new ones in the afternoon. Gone from useful to useless.

Hate it since April 2017 update which lumps everything into one big vertical scroll. Much preferred it the way it was.

What is the point of having a "MY interests" list when this new update throws a continuous stream of stuff that I might like (most of which I don't) and forces me to trawl through a load of crap news. Will wait until the next update and if there's no change, it's getting

Removal of tabs and unwanted topics being forced into my stream make this app veesion totally useless. Did use and like the old version but have removed the current version.

It was passable before the update. NOW it's not useful.

Update has everything on one stream so now just useless. Not going to trawl through umpteen items I'm not interested in, so it's being uninstalled I'm afraid.

Why did you change the app to a single feed? Was much, much better in the old format. Please re-introduce the old format as all I want to do with this app now is uninstall it. Once again, like your website home page, your idea of an improvement is nothing but a degradation. Still I do not expect you will take any notice of public comments because you never do.

Latest update terrible all my news in one big stream what's the point of that. Bring back tabs and put the person who's idea was to change it back in there box and screw the lid down.

Horrible update. Everything in a single long stream. Back to Flipboard and Squid I'm afraid :-/

Did like it but now not useful, not targeted to my interests and broken. Will stick to news app for news and social media for social news from now on. Uninstalling

Don't like all in one view.

I am not interested in sport of any description. I don't want ANY sports headlines. I don't want ANY sports stories. But I still get them, and it appears there is nothing I can do to turn them off.

No daily newspaper front cover article from the BBC. Not sure how that would fit this app. Can I remove weather updates?

Keep getting force fed bloody football news. When are you jokers going to take notice of preferences?

It looks nice but the old BBC news app was more practical with far more news content easily accessible

It's frozen. Not updated its content since April 11th. Given up.

Clearly a work in progress. BBC news far better.

Superb app, works really well. No issues. Definitely a 5 star app.

1. Portrait only ATM. I have a lovely tablet so I'd like landscape. 2. Tap on selected article and it opens in a separate browser window.....in landscape mode. Then i have to click to close, rotate again. Question: Why can articles not open within the BBC+ app as an independent app ?

Good idea but very underdeveloped. Top stories always starts with sport even if you do not have sport selected in interests. In fact, you cannot deselect top stories. Cannot scroll left/right unless you are at top or bottom of story. Not enough links to iPlayer items.

This app is basically a shortcut to the BBC website but not as flexible as viewing in a browser. It also (unless you turn it off except its on by default) helpfully reminds you twice a day to open the app in case you missed something. Avoid.

I don't understand how this differs from the customisable BBC Homepage they have been pushing for years - at least with that your can scroll down through all the stories quickly. It also seems to have chomped at my battery usage far more than a browser would for no obvious benefit. It could have been so much more
