This app uses webview and is worse than just using the website

Still no Chromecast support. Very disappointing it wasn't available for Wimbledon. Is it really so difficult?

If you come out of the app, then go back in it insists on resetting back to the home page!

What have they done. Only opens one page, then no others. Wake up!

Dire, endlessly freezes, video doesn't display properly, navigation awful. On several phones and devices

Often slow and my sport will not load, but got loads of content

Difficult to locate football results for lower leagues and difficult to return back to home page

Slow response, click on scores and it opens radio coverage or final score instead.

Has always annoyed me immensely that it takes you back to the top of the page ever time you come back from a story. Now, after this update, I can't even get to the homepage by pressing the top of the widget. I can only get into the app via a story. It now takes a minimum of three button presses to get to the home page from the widget. Time to investigate alternatives.

STILL takes you back to the beginning of the newsfeed when you read an article in the 'more' section and go back to read something else! After numerous updates!! Here's some advice for you, scrap the 'more' section and just have one continuous newsfeed. I'm sick to death of this longstanding bug.

Defaults to top of home screen every time you read an article. Also ignores your "my sport" preferences and just goes back to home screen in preference. This is really tedious.

Slow ...fedup with it ???????? BBC news is fine .. constantly says app not responding....???? Not my phone it is this app . Going to have to look elsewhere as no update to fix it ... Latest update as useless as the rest ???? poor quality, hopeless ???? new updates made no difference. Get your act together ????useless ....you lot couldn't make tea....still usless

Ruined the video content with another bad update. They no longer go full screen by default, which is OK, but when you select full screen is doesn't always work and you can no longer rotate the video. Please fix this.

Slow to load. Notifications sometimes come through much later than the live event. Not to mention the piss poor content which is seemingly written by primary school children. Standards have dropped at the Beeb! Why do so many links open with a browser? Some of the links direct to BBC News. Many BBC Sport app users already have the BBC News app installed so why not give to option to open those links in the BBC app? App no longer rotates orientation.

The pictures next the main story are usually interesting and I want to zoom in... but when you click on the story that picture is never in the article! So frustrating!

Terrible app, slow to load, sometimes doesn't load or refresh, doesn't have the same functionality as the website (using phone) e.g. Can't read HYS comments. Had enough of it, deleting and going back to using the website.

Long winded in use means I don't enjoy using it. I want results and tables to be faster to access

Such a slow app! Especially when I want to check something, it's always super slow to load news! You guys need to do something to make it work better and faster!

Thoroughly annoyed that after reading an article you are taken back to a fresh reload. Sometimes we like to move on to the next one rather than review what we have already covered - actually we always do. Everyone else gets this!

If an organisation like the BBC wants you watch live sport not available on terrestrial channels, the least they could do is make it work. App consistently stops streaming and also cuts from chrome casting or live events say they really starting soon even though you are watching it fine without casting. Could learn a lot from some of the US sports apps that do live streaming quite well. Also the hijacking of the browser to open any BBC sport app on the app becomes irritating very quickly. Can I have my licence fee back for this garbage.

Don't know what you've done but this app now makes my Note 5 crash every time! Please sort!

Would be a 5 but cannot get it to work with Chromecast/Google Home

So very slow, reloads from scratch every time. Content good but to frustrating to use

Deep linking to the details in notifications generally is a bit flakey. Otherwise, quite convenient to have show updates by notification.

Great for football fans, useless for pretty much anything else. Waste of space, even when free.

The "my sport" feature isn't detailed enough. I get notifications about women's cricket, which I'm not interested in and the app is always cluttered with football, which I loathe. Going from a cricket story to the live coverage i.e. the score is far from obvious.

Not had it long but I think it lets you listen to live Football Matches via BBC Radio along with Notifications about your Favourite Teams/Sport.

This app has gone backwards massively, take the rubbish updates off and get fid of the rediculous shortcut bar at the bottom, it does nothing but take up screen space

Please stop telling me about American sports. I neither know nor care about them. They're certainly not headline sports news. There's plenty of British sports that aren't reported on.

No longer fit for purpose. It was a good app, but now no good. Need to update more.

So slow nowadays, especially 5live page, wait ages for streaming. Also why so much American sport high up in headlines?

Useability is ok and info presented well, although continual crashing when changing between sports makes it very frustrating to use.

Bit of a fiddle to navigate around. Always starts on premiership page for football, where I unfortunately aren't too interested in at the moment.

Good app, but as usual always leads on English sport, have to dig about the app to find any Scottish sporting headlines. Try and make regional sport news events Wales, Northern Ireland more up front.

Was working fine then recently wouldn't update so uninstalled in hope of reinstalling. Won't install at all now so haven't even got an old version.

My mainstay for staying up to date with British and world sport; informative, user friendly, well written and comprehensive. Thank God for the beeb, quality organisation that generally makes the world a better place!

Down loaded will not open tried uninstalling and reinstalling won't open just says unfortunately BBC sport has stopped

when I opened BBC Sport app on my Bush Sipira E2X phone, it stops working. Please fix it.

Updated and only opens with a blank screen. Needs sorting quick.
