Service Manager Engineer for Android
It helps for raising jobs out in the field but is limited in it's versatility. Does need to be more adaptable as clearly not designed by field engineers. More designed to make office work easier but seems to double it for us. Raising jobs can be a pain on a pad as it does not hold all the client details in the app so you have to log in through the web portal. Then in the web portal in does not show details of the job, so if you have multiple jobs in the same site you have to go back to the app to get the detail. Work in progress I guess, still some way to go.
Not really sure what this is trying to achieve. Deals with one piece of paperwork. Allows you log back on to already complete jobs. Unable to edit notes. Can't make notes as you go along otherwise you lose them. Very basic in functionality.
Very basic software, needs a lot more tweaking as some of the features fail. Very limited use For an engineer. I suggest asking an engineer to redevelop the software so it can be used to more of an advantage instead of a causing problems.
There is currently a distinct lack of basic save / edit / review functionality within its current format, which is causing my company significant logistical problems at the moment...
