About TaskLife Performance Tracker

Establish exercise routines, diets, new year resolutions and other positive activities with Task:Life.

★ Using Task:Life you set goals such as going to the gym twice a week or not eating cake five days a week, then track your progress over time.

★ You record each day if you succeeded yesterday (and are thus encouraged to do the task today, particularly if you didn't manage it yesterday). This is an effective, flexible method of ingraining regular activities into your life.

★ Task:Life encourages you to exceed your own expectations by tracking the percentage of days you succeed and comparing this with your target. You can view a graphs of your history (and see how your performance has improved over time).

★ You can choose from several ways to view performance including an overall view, a (custom) windowed view or weekly approach.

★ On Android 4.0+ you can automatically backup your progress to Dropbox and restore it if you change or lose your phone.

For the price of a single coffee you could help achieve major goals.

"Top App. Best way to set/review custom daily goals."

"Fantastic, much more motivating than reminders! An indispensable app, I'd say :)"

"This simple app is turning my life around. I actually follow through with my habits now. The concept of percentages is great!"

Graphical representation and %age concept for habits / routines tasks is very effective method. Cons are - No widget, unable to change and save starting day of the week e.g. Monday to Sunday etc, unable to change the settings from 7 days to 14 or 21 days etc. App revert backs to 7 days when you enter again. No effect of selecting Window option on the Histories and Status screen. As per developer this is so and no resolution has been provided.

Works for me! Only glitch is that after marking a task completed, it will reappear occasionally, requiring a second mark of completion.

If you want to hold yourself accountable to do tasks from one to several times a week, but not everyday, this app is an excellent tracker. It can really keep you on track. Recommended!

U70%
by U####:

Great to track my goals. Reminds me each day. Makes me more aware of what I want to achieve

U70%
by U####:

Reminds me to do what is important.

One requirement is appropriate interface for longer text (paragraph) than 1-line input field (sentence).

Great app if you don't want an 'all-or-nothing' approach to habit building. For example, a goal could be to exercise at least 3x /week, without having to specify which days in advance. The math is a little more complicated due to this approach, but it actually makes sense.

Seriously I have tried so many productivity apps. This seems to agree with me as I find myself way more productive than before. I love how simple it is and really don't want it to get too complicated. I would like to be able to manually sort tasks though or organize via tags/categories. I don't think that should be too much of a stretch as you already have this functionality in your other habit apps! Pretty please!

Been using this for over a year to monitor my drum practice habits, physio routine and how often i floss :D motivating and simple. Thank you

Graphical representation and %age concept for habits / routines tasks is very effective method. Only drawback is that you can not go back and edit a saved activity.

Get your life on track with this nice little app is really helpful for motivating you to set and meet goals! Easily worth the small cost. This has definitely helped me get more done and meet more goals.

Something has gotta be done to make this app understandable. Used this app everyday for a week and could not figure out what the numbers mean and how to keep up streaks. Some habits can't be done every day but I still want to track my streaks. I thought this would help but it... Don't know what it does.

I have managed to regularize my morning & evening exercise as well as my multi vitamin intake on daily basis. Would request app management team to add new features to make it more interesting :)

This app is an indispensable tool for changing your behaviors to improve your life.

But I'd really appreciate it if the individual reminders wouldn't be handled by entries in the main calendar - I think that's far from ideal...

Q70%
by Q####:

I like this one very much. Easy to set up and use, and I find the percentage concept highly motivational (more so than the 'streaks' concept, but it's a matter of personal preference).

N70%
by N####:

[Tip: Widget is only available if app on phone, not SD card] I really like the app but it desperately needs widgets for a heads-up on your progress. Just one widget with the "Statuses" screen would be a massive improvement.

Q70%
by Q####:

App works if you're honest with yourself. Most criticisms are either misguided or obsolete; it doesn't need to be complex, it needs you to make an effort. It's not a magic bullet, but it can help a lot.

Does the job well. Could be improved by better visuals, say the calendar chains or such

D70%
by D####:

It does what it's meant too, let me keep track of things. Useful for motivation just so you can checkmark the days tasks.

Q70%
by Q####:

Its simple and does the job. I have tried them all and this one fits my needs like a glove

R70%
by R####:

This app has definitely met my needs. I started out using Habit Streak from the same developers which was useful but I found it difficult to incorporate certain goals I wanted to work on that weren't necessarily daily habits. Adding this app creates the perfect combination. I also found both apps relatively intuitive to use.

No more calendar remainder to do my task. I hated putting task on a calender n on my to do lis but now since I use task life I 've saved space on my calendar n I feel more accomplished. I woukd say dont put to many task force the firs couple of weeks n dont also plan to over do a task n put to frequency of your task to daily basis. Just put two task as task life advises n do it for a few days during the week. And once you get use to task life you can add more tasks n more frequency to your old tasks

BUT PLEASE GIVE US SOME BETTER WIDGETS and I will give 5 stars!! Widgets make a huge difference in user experience. It would be great to have something colorful on a widget that shows progress. There are others but without storage it is a no win and also appreciate statistics. Keep up the good work.. Just give the UI a brighter look and widgets and you reign supreme. I use HabitStreakPro and TaskLife.

Great ui and easy to use. I'd like it more if I could set the alarm for the night of the current day instead of the next morning, so I can more easily remember what I did.

It's great with visualization! The best would be to get it integrated with Beeminder! I'm sure the guys there would support it!

I would love to love this app!; the concept seems sound- but unfortunately the design is over complicated and difficult use.

The interface and tracking abilities of the app are worth five stars in my book. Including a human readable date (e.g. YYMMDD) in the data export would be greatly appreciated, though. Regardless, solid app. Thanks to Amimetic.

Very nice design with a lot of customization options. That said, the designer made it so you can just plug and play, which is nice for all those who don't want to go through too much set-up.

Great data tracking features, good motivation. I used it to motivate myself to work out regularly and start learning Python.
