EpiCollect for Android
Perfect
So after building a project on the website and downloading the app to my phone, I attempted to load my project and the app crashed. Once I did get it loaded, I tried adding a "New Entry", and it crashed... this continues until today. I sent a "report" with no feedback from the developers as of yet.
On a galaxy 17th, there is no option to load a new project. The phone does not have a menu key, the concept is brilliant and layout and details to capture are superb but with no option to install a new project it will be removed
Potentially great app but where is the button to load project that appears on the web tutorial? My phone does not have a menu button.
Just promises, but none button works
I like this as a simple data collect tool. It would be helpful to capture a GPX file, with and without way points. The UI is really simple, but I have to force stop in order to close the app out.
Can't load a project as there's no on screen button to allow that
Collection, setup and syncing works well. Would like a drop-down list to be a single number or letter. Need more form options, if this response, then answer this question, etc.
Good
2 things: please add an on screen option for loading new projects. My phone doesn't have a dedicated menu button, so I can't load projects! Also, it would be nice if it was compatible with arcgis. It displayed fine in Google maps, but the points were way off in arcgis online (has to be a software in compatability bc I double checked the coordinates.
Very useful app for fieldwork.
Doesn't give me the option to load a project!
Very usefull nd easy to operate
Appreciate
very nice and simple
Good app, but needs some work. Free even for multiple users/devices. Only uploads; map option to view results stored on server doesn't work.
I have set up several projects now and the app has worked v well. Really like viewing entries online
This is a nice but limited GIS. Aside from the enhancements suggested by other people, it would be nice to be able to save a tracklog and even polygons. The ability to be able to toggle back and forth between Google Maps and Google Earth on the mobile device would also be valuable. That said, EpiCollect is the best free mobile data collector out there.
Seemed to work well on my Asus TF101 and Motorola Photon, until I tried to sync to the online database. It took multiple tries for the phone to upload (kept saying it was done before all the entries were uploaded), and on the TF101, it lost 60 entries. No ideas on where it put the entries, or what internal database on the device might hold them. Really wish it didn't lose entries. Won't be using this again until the issue is proven resolved.
Just wish we had the ability to use drop down boxes for data selection.

Needs a lot of tweaks including an exit button.
So this is just what i needed, i am a busy grassroots organizer and this is exactly the type of thing that i needed. I cannot believe that this is a free app. I have tried five or six different apps and this is by far the best. Thank You for everything
Why is it not working on this phone when its working well with my Samsung GT-S5830
Promosing, but I cannot sync the data
Need to be able to exit without task killer! Good apart from that
It force closes when you try to upload form. Please update!
Completely out of date needs to be refreshed for modern Android phones
Nexus 1
Appears to be a very promising app
Most customisable interface with user-friendly and presentable online counterpart. Clients impressed. I've used to assist remembering info when pricing large tree clearance as well as presenting information to clients when askedto quickly and simply show extent of works.
This is great application
No sync Promosing, but I cannot sync the data

Can be better. Keeps crashing frequently. Drop down menu option can be included.
