Mobile Reduce for Android
Very useful
Nice, it can solve more integrals and limits than most Android calculators. Though some are not solved and can be solved by "Maxima for Android", such as the integral "log(sin(x))". or the limit of (1-x/2-cos(x/(1-x^2)))/x^4 when x->0. And of course many integrals that can be solved by Mathematica for PC cannot be solved by Reduce. "sqrt((x+sqrt(1+x^2))/x)" shouldn't be too difficult. It would also be nice to have a GUI with shortcuts for formulas. It would also be nice to have zoom or bigger buttons or a keyboard that change when the phone is rotated.
A) The GUI for accepting functions does not working at some cases: the same input (e.g limit(x/sin(x),x,0) in the 'text' version works well). B) Could it be possible to support read/write scripts like the 'text' version?
Very useful app. Can you update it with a alphabetical keyboard ? So we can share our friend a solution for an exercise + explain.thank you
On my note 5, font size is so small I can't see it.please add at last a font size option
It may be a bit strange to use a CAS as my main calculator, but Reduce is fast enough (on Galaxy S5) that one needn't wait for a quick calculation & it gives me all the functions I need. Tried dozens of apps before settling on this one … very pleased to have found it.
Not so comprehensive command line to the new ones. But Powerful in which it promises!
Prod n/(10-n) , n=1 to 2 gives *****Zero divisor :s
Great job

It cannot plot functions, there is functions can't be integrated but it is good work, I am looking for improvement .
I've used a number of maths algebra tools all the way from MuMath (does anyone remember that?) , to Derive, Matlab and Maxima. This allows to do everything that I need to and not have to put in superfluous notations such as 3*x when 3x can do. Also like the fact that there is a button for functions such as solve and expand. The real thumbs is that on a phone even this is betetr than the msdos derive which i liked using.

The best free symbolic CAS calculator I have found for Android with regard to combined overall power and ease of use considerations. Thank you!!
Excellent job, the app is very powerful and simple to use.
Any chance that this app will be able to read a script in the near future? That would make it a very effective tool. Keep up with the development great achievement so far.

Would be nice if you could increase font size, especially for tablets.
Please make the buttons larger.
This is useful for my homework
Flaky. Sometimes result is numerical, sometimes symbolic. (Log base 2). Should add FLOAT function to force evaluations into numeric. Without that app is useless.
Great start to an app that can provide more advanced operations than the stock calculator. What can make Android REDUCE even better 1) incorporate a more intuitive soft keyboard (ie symbolic characters ) 2) Copy/paste (would help out when creating word documents on android devices when the text editor doesn't have a math equation plugin) Keep up the great development
Android REDUCE is wonderful. I'm an MBA student at the University of Jijiga, and there's so much that I need in here. I can't wait the updates. Thnx.
Upon installation and execution, you can enter various expressions for evaluation, but the result is obscured at the top of the screen and impossible to see. Not being able to see the result sucks. hopefully they will fix it soon. I would still recommend you try it out for yourself.
The idea that a CAS can work on android is demonstrated. The UI requires more work...
